As questionable as Fate/kaleid is, it's almost criminal to overlook how the Vow in the Snow movie connects kaleid to the core series as a branch the best out of any of the spinoffs.

the fgo anime was pretty good tbh. camelot and Babylon, though a bit disconnected, served their purpose pretty well if you aren't willing to sit through the game, and they introduce quite a few of what would be major charas in other series.

It's really great really focused on the main timeline. Kinda forgot about Fate/Grand Order and I would recommend watch case files first before watching strange fake so you'll know the other characters more also for much a bigger impact later on.
