Let's be honest....based on the corners manufacturers are cutting, no luxury cars are worth owning....A lot of ppl are saying Lexus but honestly speaking, Lexus is not what Lexus use to be interms of longevity....The old school Lexus models are outlasting the newer models.... None of them are worth keeping after warranty....None....NO LUXURY CAR IS WORTH KEEPING AFTER WARRANTY....NONE.....All of them are money pits. Just lease them or trade them in before the warranty fries.

Idk why this guy gets so much hate. He’s a luxury car enthusiast that is very truthful about the pitfalls of owning them.

As a former BMW order (I have had 5). I urge you to reconsider your recommendation of the BMW as a lasting car. The engines may be great, but they are surrounded by plastic parts and plastic covers that do not hold up. They become money pits. Yes, you can keep one for 5 to 10 years if you want to pay through the nose for parts, high labor charges, and a shortage of outside technicians who can repair one leaving you at the mercy of the dealership.

I'm proud to say I own the Lexus GS 350 FSport in black. Love every mile out of it

Owned 4 years a W212 (E350 AMG Ed.) from 2012 that has 150 000km on it. The only issues it has had was some faulty part in the ventilator and then the engine mounts were changed to new ones due to some slight vibration. Overall, extremely reliable car and the roads we use are very bad (lot of potholes). Bought the car because I read that this particular model (W212) is highly reliable.

I've owned two IS350s and they have been completely trouble free. I had a 2007 IS350 for 10 years and sold it with 180000 miles on it and it drove like it was brand new. It was fully loaded with every option and everything worked flawlessly. I sold it for a 2014 IS350 F sport, because I liked the newer look and this car has been equally as good. I've only ever done oil changes and brakes on both cars. And the 3.5L V6 with 315 hp is buttery smooth. I've gotten 32 mpg on the highway with it too!

Ive had a 2015 535 for nearly 5yrs now. ZERO issues. Even put it on the track once!

I owned a 1996 ES300 for over 17 years. When I gave it to my son, it had about 234,000 miles, but still had good life left in it.

I realised my LS 460 is as powerful as a mustang in terms of pick up and acceleration from a dead stop...smooth acceleration with no hesitation.

I’ve had my 2016 340i with the B58 engine for 6 years now. Manual transmission, RWD, M package and track package. A joy to drive and very reliable. If all continues to go well I’ll keep it at least until 2026.
  • W210 E55 is my daily driver and one of the most reliable with the bullet proof m113 and a sturdy trans, no air bag suspension to worry about and with 392 hp decently fast for everyday use. I average 21 to 22 mpg approaching 26 mpg on highways. I also find the interior appointments are nicer than many of the later cars which appear cheap.

My 2010 BMW 328i E93 is at 119k miles. Got the car New 10 years ago and havent had any issues besides an oil pan gasket leak. That N52 engine is absolutely bulletproof!

Agree, wholeheartedly, with your assessment of Porsche. Even amongst the older ones, arguably. Impressed with the new BMWs with the b58. Great video very informational!

Bought my first Porsche 6 years ago, a 997.2 911 GTS. The car is amazing and very reliable, I’ll never sell it! Also have had great luck with a BMW 3 series I bought 9 years ago….nothing but maintenance needed.
  • @Atl404sFinest
The Lexus ES is the most reliable midsize luxury car known to me. That V6 engine could survive any apocalypse thrown at it. My grandmother drove a 1995 Lexus ES for almost 20 years before it needed any major work.

After all the troubles I had with my BMW, when my wife wanted a largish SUV we went with an Acura MDX (Elite Spec) - what an excellent vehicle and great highway fuel economy.
  • @aabikrman
Lexus all the way for me ! I've had two and both were by the far the most reliable vehicles of anything I've ever owned ! Never had to do anything more than replace filters, fluids, and other routine maintenance items. The other benefit of a Lexus is parts are readily available just about anywhere you go and not ridiculously expensive. Thank you for your feedback, I do like hearing about all makes and models especially from an industry professional !

I don’t think the Germans have made a car in the last 20 years which is intended to last much longer than a 3-year lease. The Lexuses last, so they don’t depreciate like the German cars. A low mileage used Lexus is hard to find, because people sell them when they get tired of them, not when they wear out.
