  • I have heard of a mother's instincts being amazing but I've never heard of a mom who made literally every split second decision so perfectly. A lot of it was chance, but there were also choices to be made. So I have so much respect for that woman. I hope she doesn't have any regrets with how she handled things. What a hero. I know you cant control how you land totally, but she even cushioned the impact for her daughter supposedly. So cool.

12:30 "I remember Scotty turning to me and saying; "Hey. This could be it" And, I turned to him and said; "I know. But we got a job to do." And he just said; "Okay." - Can we just take a moment to realize that these two men were, in their own way, saying goodbye to one another just in case they wouldn't make it back alive? That was a massively powerful moment between two co-workers who 100% trust each other.
  • I was fortunate enough to have known Edgar and his family for quite some time. To say Edgar was full of happiness always is an understatement. This family and their courage and strength is so inspiring to others. Quite a great story about the tragedy that happened that day.
  • Binx their kitty survived the collapse of the condominium building and was found two weeks later outside and was brought to Angela and Devin. She was so happy that day and still praying for the family after losing Edgar

First responders are pure heroes.. it takes a lot to do what they do

Johnas dad moving to a house is not running from it, it is what his son's needs to heal. I wish he would make that sacrifice for his son.
  • The cat knew where he needed to be they are incredibly intuitive creatures but they have also got a magnetic ability to essentially GPS so that they don't get lost and it's incredible. I'm really glad that the kitty made it.
  • Dad should definitely move out of Champlain Towers. It is adding to his Son's Panic and Anxiety. The Panic Attacks during Thunderstorms is a symptom of it. Right now the Trauma is grinding at his Subconscious 24 hours a day and every time he leaves and enters the area as a whole. It has his system in Hyper Vigilance and is contributing to his PTSD. Dad sell the Condo. Relocate to a property that is the polar opposite. You will see your Son begin to heal.
  • Devin was a friend of mine in elementary school and middle school because we played volleyball together and once we entered different highschools, we parted ways. To see her in a tragedy like this breaks my heart. Her father was such a good man. He would always come to every game and cheer us on. This absolutely breaks my heart, from a friends perspective. Its an emotion that can’t be explained. She is doing well, and I hope her mother is managing well and finding peace. I hope her father is resting at ease.❤️

I hope Jonah's dad reconsiders leaving. He's doing his best of course and he loves his son, but the child needs to be far away from tall buildings for a while.. Being triggered constantly makes healing all the more difficult, in my experience. Binx clearly hasn't used up his 9 lives yet! What a trooper. Deven is so inspiring. It breaks my heart that her family lost their dad/husband so soon. He seemed like a truly great guy and it's hard not to wonder why people like him can't stay earthside with us all longer. 💔💔💔💔 Thank you for covering these stories.

When Angela remembers her husband, I cried like a baby. When Deven declared that her father was a role model of how a husband should treat his wife and daughters, it reminded me of my own declaration of love that my father showed me too. Just so brave of all three of them. What great news about Bink staying in the area and that he kept showing up on the pile.
  • I don't know, If my child went through something as traumatic as this, I couldn't make him live in the building across the street.
  • Of course he didn't want to be forced to stay for months in a sister building to the one that just crushed everyone to death. That's torture to make him live like that.
  • Binx the loyal super cat! 4 very fortunate survivors, including Binx. 🙏🏼 Sending continued healing energy.
  • God bless this beautiful young lady. She lost her dad, she almost lost her leg, and she’s worked so hard to overcome. What an inspiration.. I bet your dad is looking upon you, as proud as ever. You are one strong young lady, and so are your mother and sister. You knew you could do it and you did it..
  • “Keep going. Giving up is not an option.” That’s exactly what your father would say to you, sweet girl.
  • The dad talking about his son being terrified of rain is horrifying. I mean he will have trauma for life that I only pray he makes it through. Good lord please watch over these children and survivors.
  • @vidhoard
I am so amazed with how much her coaches care about her like she is their own daughter. Truly heart touching.
  • @vidhoard
She really comes to life when talking about and playing volleyball. You can tell it's truly her passion. I hope she is able to get back to where she was!
