“A kitchen was added as a wedding gift to Leia”, that comment is just asking for trouble.

Here's the thing...the SW universe says that the YT-1300 was the most common freighter in the Galaxy. Yet we only ever see one in use. (Not counting Easter Eggs, which are usually supposed to be the Falcon anyway). They don't seem that widespread to me. That's like watching the entire Fast and Furious franchise and only ever seeing one Honda Civic.

...A 100 metric tonne capacity? What the HELL's that mean? OH... about the weight of 25 Banthas. I see now, thanks for clarifying.
  • When the original was released in 1977 I was 8 years old and a real sci-fi nerd. Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Space 1999...all of those were my faves. This film grabbed me by the balls and altered my life. I can still remember riding in the back of my parents 1972 Chrysler Town & Country Station Wagon with the fake wood panel on the side and I always sat in the rear facing rumble seat in the very back and just letting that film soak into my soul. That Christmas they got me this huge book that had all the hand drawn cutaways and stats of all the ships, races, planets, everything in the Star Wars universe. I would have flipped my lid at your channel. I still do. Anyways, I really like all your breakdown videos and filling in the blanks on some old questions that I always had. For a fictional universe, it has become almost an alternate reality. Cool huh?

No bathroom or artificial gravity generator makes for a dirty ship 😂
  • '' really easy to maintain'' not the hyperdrive on the Millennium Falcon has anything to say about that
  • @sparklepawz1185
"It's a super common ship" only one seen throughout the whole series
  • You would think the rebels would have had a few of there own converted into fighter bombers considering the modification potential and they were cheaper than a Xwing
  • Ships don’t have hallways or kitchens. They are passageways and galleys.
  • 0:54 Surely “larger” spaceports would cover a significant fraction of the Galaxy. That would be millions of star systems, so having only “hundreds” of vehicles seems to be out by a few orders of magnitude.

The millennium falcon is hands down my favorite spaceship from any sci-fi franchise
  • @randomguy9988
When you thought metanerds wasn't going to make a video about the Falcon but he does actually does it I thought we were in trouble there, but it's fine! We're fine!

I’m finally done that binge, these last few videos have been really great
