You figured after 6 blocks in the first half you’d stop going inside!
-
Shaq looks like he's playing against children lol
-
It's amazing how the BYU center kept challenging him as if somehow something was going to change. They needed to start looking for other avenues to score.
-
The impressive part is that the blocks are majorly due to his athleticism and skill not just size. He’s swatting fairly open jump shooters in iso
-
This guy looks pretty good. Maybe he will play in NBA one day
-
This should be the most time a single player gets his shot blocked in a basketball game.
-
That BYU coach was losing his mind, not realizing his center was playing against Shaq lolol
-
It's a trip watching this and back then I thought Shaq was humongous! If Shaq stayed this weight for most of his NBA career no telling what would've happened. He was still the most dominant player in the league.
-
His reaction time and speed were the key. Yeah - he's huge. Yeah, naturally strong (HE'S HUGE) - but he was underestimated regarding his speed and agility. And his sense of humor :)
-
Shaq with his Patrick Ewing knee pads lol.
-
He was so dominant, it was crazy
-
BYU: Let’s run headfirst into a brick wall for 40 minutes straight.
-
Don’t feel bad for #32 from BYU. A few years later he met the woman he loved who turned down marriage proposals from him 11 times before she eventually said “yes”! Shaquille taught this man how to accept rejection!
-
Kobe was right, could have had 6 rings Shaq
-
When O'Neal weighed less and had speed and agility. That all changed in the pros, where he backed up toward the basket like a dump truck.
-
I was at that game. It was like, "ah no, BYU ain't winning this game as long as that beast is here".
-
triple double with blocks is insane. remember that year no if or buts who was going to be the #1 lottery pick.
-
Shaq was quick af
-
I remember that game. BYU had a couple 7 footers and Shaquille stuffed them all. It was an incredible performance.

1:45 was beautiful
