I think we need to temper our expectations to this season. This won’t be the glory season, not yet.

Good video. But on the point of rotation, it was difficult to rotate because of the lack of available depth in key positions and we were not killing games off early enough to give players rest. INEOS are already fixing the depth issue, we now need to put away the chances created early so that key players can be rested and rotated. IMO

I agree with the whole video, especially ETH rotations. It's truly amazing Bruno has not broken down with a major injury. ETH runs that man into the ground!

Personally I think he was forced to adopt a pragmatic approach that wasn't his style in the 1st season. He then tried to implement his style last season and stuck to his guns, not wanting to confuse players by reverting back. It didn't work because of injuries and because he was not given proper support from the hierarchy at the club. We have already seen this summer, that he is being given every chance to succeed in implementing his philosophy on the team now. We have defenders who will compress the pitch and coach's that will help him implement his style. If we can add a quality CDM as well, I really think we will have a much stronger foundation on which he can build. I may be wrong, but I think we're going to be the dark horses this year. I can see us being right up in the mix for much of the season but ultimately falling short in the last 1/4 of the season, when City go on their usual unbeaten run.
