Voces 8 is a rare treat no matter what they present. What extraordinary quality in phrasing, intonation, tonal beauty. They blow me away!
-
Andrea Haines is a quiet force of nature - and this is a glorious ensemble. Thank you, Voces 8, Master Tallis - and God!

Just goes to prove this group just doesn't "record" well....they are just as perfect live. Any choir should observe how this group LISTENS to each other and balances his or her voice within the piece of music. This is true musicianship at it's finest.

This is perfect. When the soprano's sing like the boys of Westminister or Oxford There's nothing left to complain...
-
Heavenly singing VOCES8. ❤. By singing you ease my pain when the medicines don't work anymore. Thank you so much ❤.

Superbly gifted young people with encyclopedic knowledge of music and the talent to perform it flawlessly. I was fortunate enough to hear collaborators of theirs, the Gisauldo Six, a year prior to the first lockdown and have only heard Voces 8 on cd and youtube. That doesn't detract from the feeling I've experienced a tiny glimpse of heaven. We're very lucky to have such talent in the uk.

I sang in the University Choir many years ago…this superb interpretations make me remind of the beauty we lived doing it ! Thank you VOICES8

Their performance is musically intimate so I recommend seeing them live in a smallish venue. This is perfect!

Brilliant and breathtaking! A joy to listen to and lift our spirits at this lockdown time. Thank you.

Watching and listening, while I sew and bag social distancing face masks for Food Bank and Salvation Army in Lander, Wyoming—on CoronaVirus Lockdown. Thank you! Be well, everyone.😷💞🌟

Exquisite singing - you convey the emotionality of the individual pieces. I hear both the whole and each voice - wonderful balance. Thank you for reminding us of the transcendental.

I need a standing ovation emoji and a Grammy emoji!

What a wonderful concert. It’s great to hear new choral music as well as old. Voces8 are superlative musicians but what astounds me is that no one voice ever seems to dominate They really listen to each other and the whole sound takes precedence over any one contribution. Great team work! It must be so hard to achieve this and I imagine they rehearse long long hours. I love the Monteverdi madrigals especially in this intimate environment.i am enjoying this confined at home in France during the Covid epidemic. Wouldn’t normally find the time....

Beautiful and sadly rare nowadays. Greetings from Buenos Aires, my support and congratulations for you all..

The entire concert was fantastic, but I hope the Cambridge audience appreciated the rare privilege of hearing a live performance of the Monteverdi Sistina Madrigals, especially such an exquisite performance!

I’m a real fan of your interpretation of choir music. Thank you 🙏 so much for uploading to YouTube !

Somebody was complaining about the lousy acoustics in another YT video live performance these folks did, I should point them here. The reverb and "liveness" here is spectacular. ;-)
