For Nando V Movies' 'One Villainous Scene' project, here is a short look at a great Ultron scene from a criminally underrated TV show - Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes,

Nando V Movies' original video:   • One Villainous Scene - Loki's Gloriou...

One Villainous Scene playlist:    • One Villainous Scene

Please let me know if anyone watches this, and if so, what you thought of it!

“This is not a threat, there is nothing you can do to stop it” might just be one of my new favorite quotes

I love how they build up Ultron. He starts out as a bunch of help-bots, but we know what's coming and we want to tell Hank, "Shut them down. Shut them all down!".

One thing that’s messed up is that by Ultron’s logic, he’s still a pacifist. He doesn’t view what he’s doing as an act of war just like humans wouldn’t consider exterminating a termite nest as one.

This ultron was chilling, also I agree with you that this is the best animated avengers show, and that the theme song is great.

Having looked more into Ultron and "his" motivations I'm struck by something. He's a genius obviously, but he's more human than he claims. He prides himself on his logic...but pride is a human trait. Deep down Ultron is the creation of a human and he despises himself, Hank pym/Tony Stark and all biological life because of it
  • Shoutout to Tom Kane, the VA for Ultron in this show, for his absolutely incredible performance here. He just captures that balance between cold, impartial rationality and sheer malice so goddamn well. Also, I'm paraphrasing, but shoutout to this line from the episode before the one shown here: "Dr. Pym implanted a protocol that prevents me from causing any harm to [Wasp]. I am attempting to correct that flaw. " God, Ultron was fucking terrifying in that show.
  • Ultron was always best when he was akin to the Terminator, but with a barely disguised Oedipus Complex

Hank: I have programmed Ultron for peace Maria: Peace for humanity right? Hank: ... Maria: Peace for humanity right???
  • I remember when Pym changed Ultron's code in Kang's Dinasty episode "I'm teaching Ultron the concept of violence" looks a lot like "Im about to start this mans whole carreer" Nevertheless both are fantastic episodes. Its a shame the show got cancelled.
  • I've told people before and I'll say it again, this is the closest Marvel has come to truly competing with DC animation.
  • It's the fact that he seemingly can't be destroyed, constantly upgrading himself and coming back stronger. He just deletes the Hulk with a wave of his hand. We really did build our own destruction

I don’t think sentient machines are nearly as scary as unbelievably powerful machines blindly following human commands.
  • @OldGreyGryphon
I’m still shocked that people still describe this show as “forgettable at best.” This show was brilliant! Edit: Holy cats! Thanks for all the likes people!

Part of me honestly wants to declare EMH as the all-time best incarnation of the Marvel characters 😊
  • “This is not a threat” is such a great line for Ultron, and nuclear Armageddon in general. It’s only a threat if there’s a chance you can stop it, and Ultron was very close.
  • @Themagfairy
The theme song of A:EMH is the most nostalgic bop. I love the show and loved your video 💗
  • "It's like if Alexa turned genocidal" Alexa actually turned on behind me when you said that... I'm scared. Jokes aside, amazing analysis! I remember I loved this show when I was a kid, and I still definitely do, even if I haven't heard the name "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" in forever.

A version of ultron we could need is one that uses an emotional speach and action pattern to lower a enemy's guard but then immediately flips the switch when he's about to get to business to avoid being compromised by said emotion.
  • Ultron was voiced by the same guy in Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow. Also had a similar look in the second season. Very interesting. Potential future of EMH.
  • Ultron was always my favorite villain from the show, and seeing a video on him for this playlist was so great to see!
