Seeing lots of comments say 2p mode isn't allowed I did the final run in 1 Player mode. It followed all the rules 😎

after listening to the explanation in the beggining... this is commonly known as the "air bud clause", (yes the basketball dog, no I'm not kidding) which is basically doing something you know should be against the rules, but isn't because it felt unnecessary to make it a rule.

I love how sweaty the Speedrunning culture is. The difference between Smallant and the Number 1 Odyssey speedrunner is literally 6 minutes. Which doesn't seem too hard to reach until you notice that there are 152 people in front of Ant beating him by literally seconds to try and get there and they just don't have that pinpoint accuracy in their run yet. I love it

He didn't cheat. He started the game with the Odyssey in second gear and that's how he was able to get a sub-10 minute run.

Mans crushed two world records in one run, any% AND min caps! Truly a master of the game.

I remember being there for the stream, and as you can see before he reveals its a mod everyone flips their shit and is so hyped. He played us all and it was an experience.

The rules never said you can’t use the “beat a game” button from AVGN that he uses to instantly beat any game.

If you want to get technical, one of the src general rules is "• The game itself must not be altered or controlled with outside tools." That definitely includes mods. Rip small ant
