FO3, I died to get 1 water purifier working. FO4, I built 20 water purifiers out of tin cans, aluminum trays, and a coffee cup, in my downtime when I was bored, because I had nothing better to do.

Does anyone understand how the hell people in fallout 4 could life and survive like the Finch's or Abernathys? No walls. No defense. while there are roaming super mutants with mini nukes and missle launchers, raiders and other deathly threats.

I love the lore and story of Finch Farm. Yeah it’s one of those settlement quests but I like the fact that you can redeem Jake. In the two playthroughs I’ve done (BOS and RR), I’ve saved Jake and made him a provisioner to The Slog. It seems like a punishment but also a lesson as to never mess with raiders. It’s really funny too because The Slog (one of my favorite settlements) is always getting attacked by forgers and 99% of the time Jake is there to defend them. God, I’m a nerd.

I love the new Thematic & Practical with the new BOS tile set. Your settlements are always very simple, but very nice. I have heard most all my settlement mods from you in some form or another. Thanks for all the great Fallout 4 video's. As I still play it often, especially since I upgraded to Pc from X-box, and PS4 before that. Lastly, I had the finch elevator lift, but was hesitant to download the scaffolding due to thinking it would conflict. Thanks to you I have both now.

"thematic and practical" is a must-have mod alongside "do-it-your-shelf" i use the mods for guard towers and barracks as well. TaP is perfect for creating a guard tower that feels legit, where you can easily decorate ( if using DIYS) to feel like a guard tower should feel, with guns and ammo and other supplies that any well stocked guard should have.

Finch Farm Overpass redid the navmesh on the area? Nice! I built something just like you see in this video as far as scaffolding and settlers were constantly falling through to the ground below. Tried using floors of all kinds to 'fill it' and prevent it but it kept happening! Definitely going to download this mod and redo it.
