He never misses mate in 1, a grandmaster in disguise
  • @z4za1
“ martin finishes quickly that’s why he has children “ 💀😂
  • @lagunax5645
"And then Martin hangs his queen" Ah, the Henry VIII gambit.
  • @Madara_O7
"Martin is essentially playing chess with 75% of his brain physically removed from his skull" Huge respect to this man💀

This is like the completely stoppable object fighting against the very moveable force.
  • @jimmytaco6738
This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. I've seen Martin demolish grandmasters and obliterate Stockfish, and I think it's finally time that he got a taste of his own medicine.

9:20 "Both pawns can passant at the same time" This needs to be a move where they fuse and instantly promote.
  • @denied69
Martin is a genius in disguise he planned out a whole mate in 131 white even made his first move
  • @chaconneind3777
I’ve always thought Martin is designed to be the grandmaster dad who plays with his kids, trying his best to let them win and learn from the game.

Seeing Levy talk to his Martins reminds me a lot of the narrator in The Stanley Parable. Starting out fine but slowly going more and more insane as the game goes on.
  • @AriaCannavo
Martin is the type of guy to protect his queen when it’s being attacked by a pawn

Martin vs Martin is a game of such high level that us mere humans are just not able to understand, truly a battle of the Champions
  • @FloatingSunfish
Honestly, never missing Mate in One is an impressive skill.
  • @EpicPico0625
This is the definition of "never let them see your next move"
  • @evanmunden2414
"But you parked the car like two miles away" the disappointment and exasperation at 11:32...man, that's good stuff
  • @cubeheadii9284
Can we just take, like, at least a year of silence to appreciate how absolutely amazing Levi's narration skills are?!
  • @ethanrobbins9401
I think the best way to describe Martin’s strategy of chess would be “Non-Euclidean”
  • @Antifrost
Martin created so many memorable and unique moments in this, this is truly one for the ages. White's king going on a leisurely stroll while his kingdom is shattered, the double en-passant not being taken, black's queen surviving for so long only to be left out to dry, the list goes on.

This proves that a perfect game of chess isn’t always a draw
