Lyrics:
Day-o, Day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day, me say day, me say day, me say day
Me say day, me say day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Work all night on a drink a' rum
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Stack banana till the mornin' come
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Lift six foot, seven foot, eight foot BUNCH!
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Six foot, seven foot, eight foot BUNCH!
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day, me say day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day, me say day, me say day, me say day...
Daylight come and me wan' go home
A beautiful bunch a' ripe banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Hide the deadly black tarantula
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Lift six foot, seven foot, eight foot BUNCH!

Meanwhile Kevin was home alone.

who is here after the trailer?

“The Juice is Loose”

One of Tim Burton's strangest but funniest flicks! It's grown on me over the years.
-
One does not simply hear this song and not think about this Beetlejuice scene.
-
Best part of the video (aside from the song, of course) is how the actors were all able to do the dance number while looking like they didn't WANT to be doing it-- since the ghosts were controlling them. That was probably difficult to do.
-
There's no way anyone watching the movie the first time could even vaguely predict what happens after she says "I would rather talk about ..." So utterly brilliant.
-
The looks on everyone's faces, their acknowledgement that they are doing this against their will, and Otho's line: "That's cute, Delia" make this scene for me.
-
Catherine O'Hara's acting really sold this scene.
-
The song is just so random. I never get tired of this scene.
-
Hearing this song in the Beetlejuice 2 trailer brought back so many good memories of this scene.
-
0:36 i really like the detail of her winking at Linda to let her know it's Adam and Barbara possessing them. Makes this scene so much better.
-
one of the most iconic scenes in movie history
-
"I would rater talk about-"
"DAY-O" -
MY CHILDHOOD IS COMING BACK FROM THE 80's TO Beetlejuice 2 :P
-
This movie was such a masterpiece, they don't make them like this anymore
-
This scene will live rent free in my mind for eternity.
-
Imagine that the recorded this entire scene in silence...
-
Has to be one of the funniest and well played scenes ever. If there isn't, there ought to be an award for Catherine O'Hara's performance. Never tire of seeing this again, and always brings joy...

By far my favorite scene in the film. The actors are wonderful and I love the fact that they liked what the ghosts did to them instead of being scared lol
