You're about the only camera review channel for hobbyists that's still sane. Thank you.

I came here for a camera comparison, stayed till the end to get education

You probably hear this a lot, but you're one of my favourite reviewers. You seem to have very little bias, often blunt about your opinions (such as saying stick with the equipment you got), you don't use click-baity titles, and you actually talk about negatives all the time!!! So few reviewers (especially for camera equipment) point out and show the negatives about products!!! Thank you for this top notch quality, and I hope you keep it up. Live long and prosper.

I was this close to selling my A6000, 16-50 kit, 55-200 and 50f1.8 just to get some money and add more for an A7C. Your words convinced me again that I don't need FF. Thank you man you're the best!

Meanwhile in A6000 land, we are still using the A6000.

I almost had a heart-attack when you touched sensors

I got a6300 after watching your reviews. Most of my friends own a7iii. But I'm happy with what my camera can do and how it can help me with my workflow. The autofocus is way better than a7iii and always silent. Battery isn't great. But I'm fine with it. At the end of the day no one cares what you're shooting with, rather what you're shooting and how good it could be produced and presented. Thanks for your honest reviews man. Always love the Mafia channel 👻⭐

Excellent review. I upgraded from a a6400 to an a6600 because I needed the IBIS, and I'm very happy with it. I decided against the A7c because of the cost of full frame lenses. Your review covered all the bases, and confirmed my decision.
  • Great job as always Arthur. I love how you stick to the APS-C. I give you a ton of credit. Bravo

Dude, I appreciate your honesty so much. Thanks for this.

I'm glad I found this channel. As a past Canon guy, I started with a crop body (30D) and moved up to a full frame (5D mkii). I only went full frame because I came across an amazing deal. I'm not a professional by any means, so my use was mostly still shots. After time behind the 5d mkii, I didn't care much for it. Sure it had it's advantages over the 30D, but for the content I was shooting, my audience couldn't see the difference. It was big and heavy and cumbersome to take with my on trips. It sat in a bag for a few years and eventually was sold off to fund one of my other hobbies. I've been using my cellphone since and it's fine, but recently had a my first kid and now wish I had something better. I was about to jump back into a full frame, but the 6600 seems like the better fit for what I plan on using it for. The fact that video tech has come so far along since my 5d kmii, I'll use the A6600 way more and be more inclined to bring it out with me.

I went from an a6500 to an a7riv last year, and I haven’t looked back. For me and what I photograph, the better high ISO performance and eye autofocus were game changers. But I loved my a6500 and my a6000 before that and would recommend an APS-C to most of my hobbyist friends, especially now that Tamron has that all-in-one f/2.8 zoom. Thanks for the informative video!

I´ve been watching tons of reviews in the last few days to decide which camera to buy. Without a shadow of a doubt, your reviews are the most honest i´ve seen. It´s not that you say what I want to hear, it´s because you convey reliabilty. Besides, you structure your video in a concise, entertaining yet informative way. Keep up the excellent work! The youtube needs more reviewers like you! And thanks to help me make up my mind.
  • @ShaneBethlehem
Fantastic comparison, super reasonable approach to the topic with great examples to back it up
  • @weisun6621
I appreciate you disclosed the camera and lens for making this particular video, so I know the video effect is actually not bad at all!!
  • @FlipperInc
As a beginner, i went with a used original A7. Thought that I'd get full frame to start building a lens collection to eventually upgrade body, but for now, really happy with the oldie first gen A7

Just wanted to say thanks for your contribution over time on your channel. I "jumped" for an APS-C Sony after being out of photography for many years and finding your channel has been a great help. I agree that many YT channels are quite relentless in pushing full frame as "the best" but truth be told, APS-C is more than good enough for anyone not earning their living from their camera. Your channel helps me manage the buyer's regret other channels try to impress on me so I'm very grateful for that. It's taken a few months but I now feel "adjusted" and not prone to laying down another few thousand dollars on another body in some vain attempt to keep up.
