T.E Lawrence once said......"When you're alone and dying in the desert, even an enemy for company is better than no company at all."
-
Don't you love how she took her baby for it's first face hug? those special moments.... the face hugger was so oold it probably had arthritis.
-
A heartwarming tale of mother and daughter taking on space together!
-
I rather fight skynet than having this android around.
-
This was very well done and the fact that it had James Paxton the son of one of the OG aliens actors is a really cool bonus
-
David would be proud.
-
Really enjoyed this. Great to see James Paxton, son of the late Bill Paxton, appear in this short. This android felt like a good callback to Ash from Alien. To quote Bishop "The A-2's always were a bit twitchy"
-
"that's a nice pet you got there Bishop."
-
How to train your ... Xenomorph? O.O
-
Hicks: "Looks like love at first sight to me. Oh, he likes you, Burke!"
-
Nobody: Every android ever: Xenomorphs are love. Xenomorphs are life.
-
Out of all of the new Alien shorts this one is my favorite
-
Wow, I would never have tought I would see an Alien flick about friendship. Quite a unique take on the original lore, congrats!
-
Damn the androids in the Alien universe have some really bad programming, they keep becoming obsessed with xenomorphs.
-
Damn female version of David.
-
What a great idea, It's hard to do something with the franchise but this gives it a breath of fresh air.
-
This is why I really don't support space tourism.
-
Alien: Alone, because they couldn't call it Alien: Isolation
-
I love the little details such as at the end, showing the shadow of the jaw opening on her face, with the music changing from the uplifting to a sharp tune, usually displaying surprise. Altogether a very nice project!

For an android, "being useful" and "purpose", means everything. Though she could no longer achieve her purpose, she was able to help the Facehugger achieve it's life goal. If you notice, the Facehugger was so old, it could barely even fight and had to be placed on the host. Helping the Facehugger gave her a reason to keep going. When she looked up at the Xenomorph, she was prepared for whatever happened next, taking some satisfaction in knowing she created something that would be useful for it's species.
