  • Joe Ferguson is one of those underrated forgotten quarterbacks from back in the day
  • @mabafi25
It's insane how good he became, shouldve won a super bowl
  • Just to put this performance into perspective: The first time the Dolphins played the Bills earlier in the season in week 1 (minus Marino and with Woodley at QB), they had 26 net passing yards. Twenty-Six. God bless Marino
  • Joe Ferguson passing game was a thing of beauty. He was a great QB that never get full recognition. What a great game!

I'm a Bills fan. Never really seen Ferguson highlights. That man could throw a football. Very impressive. Dimes everywhere
  • The greatest pure pocket passer that ever lived and had an ability to keep rushing lineman off of him with his left hand
  • FINALLY AN ACTUAL NFL GAME ON NFL THROWBACK! Also this IS a throwback 38 years ago.
  • You could easily say, this game is Marino’s career in a nutshell.

People forget Marino was a decent athlete and could actually move before his knee injuries. Marino ran a 4.8 at his pro day and was a good pitcher and short stop in baseball in high school that was drafted in the 4th round by the Kansas City Royals.

I remember that this game was not on local TV in Miami and I had to read about it in the paper. I remember that the players instead of being down about losing were very excited about the future after the way they moved the ball. God, I miss the Orange Bowl.
  • Came to watch Marino play but damn this 83 Bills offense was spicy af hahaha
  • Prelude to greatness ... mind boggling that he only made one SB appearance (SB 19) ... but definitely one of the greats and quickest release I have ever seen to this day ...
  • The greatest qb to ever throw the football. Sucks that the Dolphins can't play defense or else Marino would've had a Superbowl ring.

Marino had all the tools with size, quick release, cannon of arm, and he wasn't fast but had quick feet and nimble enough to avoid sacks. I did watch the documentary on his off field issues during college, but crazy to think he was second to the last player chosen in the first round and the 4th QB.
  • This game was a glimpse into Marino's future. The Bills will always be in your way.
  • Dan Marino, One of the Best Quarterback' s of all time' s.🏈🏈🏈🏈
  • It's shocking to see that Dan and Don could never win a Super Bowl in the 13 years they were together
