"notified of the outcome" is the code for "your protest is upheld, we did something", but they never tell you what the penalty was for the other driver.

Also, when Crew Chief tells you that a lap was the fastest of the race, it is really telling you that was your own fastest lap.

The second worst thing about iRacing is you loosing safety rating because someone bumps into you. The game is not smart enough to recognize that. First thing is the absurd pricing.

Really great to see the progress, even the small milestones that still end in failure, each failure is a lesson, and you are definitely taking them with stride, I've never done much road racing in iRacing, I drift on AC. Great attitude Oscar. Few people forget that we have more in common with all these drivers than not. We all love motorsports to some degree and have certain skillsets and conflict resolution skills to some degree as well. Well articulated.

In the 9yrs I've been on iracing I've only done 3 protests and they all were banned I'm sure cause I got the same email you got and right after I checked the person's account and they didn't race for awhile also. Never ever be afraid to use the protest system for blatant things like what I witnessed in this video.

When crewchief says "Fastest lap of the race" he means a personal fastest. It's vague tho i agree

I so would of protested on that Blatant brake check on you. He knew you were coming for him and you probably would of passed him on the corner.

So I’ve noticed something with the iracing emails about protest. There is two different types of emails for protests. One reads just as the one you recieved. “The driver under protest has been notified of the outcome” then the other one say “ we find the driver did not cause incident intentionally, but the protest will stay in record for future incidents” something along those lines. I’m guessing the “we’ve notified the driver of the outcome” is a ban
