Ahmed referenced a Hadith wrongly Alhamdulilah we've corrected this error and edited that part out. This is the Hadith he was referring to: Abu Dawood (2117) with the wording: “The best of marriages is that which is most affordable.” This was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani. thanks to everyone who made us aware of this mistake ❤️❤️❤️❤️

“When Nikah becomes expensive Zina becomes cheap.” This is not a Hadith of our beloved Prophet, peace be upon him. Try correct this inshallah so misinformation isn’t spread. Jazakallahu khayran, may Allah bless you both.

And if y’all don’t say ma shaa Allah allahumabarek lakoum to them, I’m the one who’s getting angry! 😤
  • Assalaamu'alaikum, it seems like the statement "when nikah becomes expensive, zina becomes cheap" was said by Dr. Bilial Philips and is not a hadith

Subhanallah the simplicity of your whole nikaah and Walimah. Rare these days. Allah bless you and your families. The deen started of as strange ( rare) and will return to strange, so glad tidings for the strangers. او كما قال عليه الصلاة و السلام

I love you guys for the sake of Allah. I am a revert for over ten years how Algamdulillah. I am from Romania and my husband from Bangladesh but also think that’s not important as long as Islam unites us. MashaAllah I love you guys 😊
  • such a beautiful simple marriage allahummabarik may Allah continue to make bless your union xo also loved the walimah!!! I want to have mine back home or in Syria/Yemen in sha Allah some people never get to eat for pleasure rather every day its stress for them to even know where their next meal is coming from and hopefully with the walimah party /food they can actually enjoy it + their duas are so worth it if anyone is interested in doing it Ummah Welfare does a walimah feast for just £85-£300 in Syria or Gambia !!

Our biggest concern should be having Allah SWT blessings in our marriages but cultural weddings these days prevents us from having it. You guys gave some solid advice.
