Hello all!
This song was my end of the year project for Dual Credit Biology, so I hope you enjoy!
Here are the lyrics:

Farmers using wild mustard to create some other plants
Created cauliflower, broccoli, and cabbage cause they took a chance.
Seedless fruit in hot pursuit, like watermelon and purple grapes,
For corn they took out some colors and shriveled up shapes!

Artificial selection, making genetic suggestions
Crossing this and that, or that and this,
To be our best, you can't be remiss,
Artificial Selection!

Now don't forget the Romans who were killing the weak to make more strong
People said "Let's take a wolf and make a pet, what could go wrong?"
Dog domestication taking place 14,000 years ago,
People constantly disrupt the status quo!

Artificial selection, let's make some genetic suggestions!
Crossing that and this, or this and that,
Trying to find a hypoallergenic cat!
Artificial Selection...

It's time for a little artificial selection rap!
Scientists and farmers working hard to get perfection, app-
lication of this thing will help our future generations
But to get you on my side you need some further explanations:
Dogs are differing from their ancestors through millennia,
Maize and wheat and rice invented in Mesoamerica.
Hairless cats for allergies and strong bovine progeny,
(That;s cow, for those that didn't know) made easy through homogeny.

Artificial selection, making genetic suggestions!
Who knows what we have in store,
Maybe a thornless rose, or a new dinosaur!!
Artificial Selection...

Thanks for watching and subscribing!! Have a great day!
