    This is why MasterChef Australia is better than America. That woman was near tears when she said she was embarrassed to put her dish in front of the judges, and how they had previously talked about presentation, and it was a stupid mistake. In America, Joe or Gordon would have nodded and gone “yup, you screwed up, you should definitely be feeling the pressure right now” but this judge just shook his head and said softly “Don’t be ridiculous.” Like, sure, they know she messed up, but they can see she feels bad, so why add to it? That’s beautiful.

    There's a unique kind of maturity to Jessica not once (on screen at least) offering to show the judges her better looking but ice cream-less plate as proof of concept lol. Her ideas and flavor combos had me the most enthralled regardless of broken wafer, and hers is the dessert I'd kill and die for a bite of. Fully deserved.

    These fantastic deserts are something we will never see in the US restaurants. Maybe in the really expensive places to eat they might show up. Amazon, car hop trays.

    Georgia always had drama in the kitchen🤣🤣🤣
