Perch fishing with waggler and prawns

Perch will feed all year round, but autumn and winter are the best times. Even in the coldest weather, Perch will oblige. Float fishing with prawns has become an almost guaranteed way to catch them. In this film I fish a small club pond in early October.

I got into all this dropshotting and jigging for perch, watched this vid when it came out and realised how great and old school this method your showing is. So sold all my dropshotting and jigging rods and reels. And now enjoying my fave method again. No more walking miles up and down canals as arthritis in my knee is giving me grief, so thanks for great vid and taking me away from fashion fishing lol. Love all your vids by the way.

Thanks m8 loved the video ! iv never used prawns and my local pool has 4+ perch in as iv seen and had a 3-2 while bream fishing on 12 maggots so I'm deffo gonna give prawns ago in my 3rd rod this winter ! cheers fella and tight lines !

used to fish george cragg about 20 plus years a go & the whole centre was covered in reeds. but none the less some very nice fish .it was my favourite when i had hassocks membership i think i need to get new membership again next year cause the pond looks great now

As a UK expat I've seen prawn being used now on a few channels I live quite some distance from where I have caught Perch here in Western Australia but next time I'm at the location in September time Prawns will be definately by having an outing Incidentally I couldn't source earthworms easily here in Perth so dug around the roots of an old dead tree at the side of the pool and found loads thankfully. Tightlines.

I was fishing for perch with King prawns yesterday never got a bite switched to worms bite after bite... Maybe I need to use the small prawns like yours instead of cube shaped prawns

Ive had one out of here at 3lbs 7 oz. That was on worm.
