My Final Fantasy Tier List

Always good to see someone else enjoying FFXII, it's seriously underrated! Been my favourite since I first played it upon release. <3

I think Preach is attempting to work his way through every FF game for the first time. Would be interesting if you guys had a discussion afterwards!

I know these lists are subjective, but 7 and 8 = C tier? 11 as a D?! 9 as a F TIER?! 15 as a B?! Happy are you okay? Blink twice if someone has a gun to your head!

While I disagree with some of the placements, I can certainly understand the reasoning's behind them and respect where you put them. With the exception of FFIX, I can't understand at all how that ended up in at the bottom and I would certainly like to see a video of you trying to explain that one.

FF1 díd leave a lasting impression on me, it was my very first RPG, my first FF and it remain my personal favorite FF in the series FF13 over FF9? Oh boy, people are not gonna like that 👀

I knew you disliked FF9, but that much? Damn, I'm speechless. Even about the reasons. Like, how does one dislike 9's cast of characters?

Here comes the FF9 pitchforks! Haha just kidding, but very surprised to see it in F! Wow, it's got to be an A or S tier for me, not my personal favorite, but such an amazing game. I can agree with you on the FF6 and FF10 being S tier, love both of them. FF7 being C Tier is also pretty surprising, you're gunna get some hate for that haha. Just looking at what that game has done for the series as a whole I think you got to give it at least an A. FF7 I think is many people's favorite and got them into the series. I'm just surprised to see 9s placement, especially compared to 6 when they have so much in common in my mind with the world and storytelling.

You placed VII and IX so low, yet ironically, they're the only ones that made me cry. lmao (Other than FFXIV, which has by far my favorite story & villain with Emet. VI made me tear up too) But in my opinion, story is number 1 when it comes to me ranking FF games. Music is number 2. Gameplay number 3 and graphics are the least important. So I guess we just have different values. XIV is by far the best one when it comes to story, VII is my number 2. VI is 3. IX is no.4. X no.5 and then IV and V are kinda tied up. I love III way more now, 'cause of FFXIV.

FFIX in F tier is just cold-hearted.

Definatley a few surprising takes in there. The fact that people rank FF games so differently just goes to show how great the overall quality of this franchise is.

for me as a life long fan, this is quite generic list but it my best : IX S: 14, 7, 6 A: 12, 4, 3 (3d remake) B: 8, 10, 5 C: 15, 1, 2 D: 13 no 11 and sequel and no F tier bc just face it even at it worse, ff doesn't have a bad game, mediocre and frustrating (13, 15) but not a bad game tbh.

Really taking points off FF7 for PS1 load times, while being the first game ever to use FMV? Damn, that's harsh.

I know XIII gets a lot of hate... But I loved it, the OST alone wins me over.

I think anyone who's played XIV and never played any of the single player games would love XII. So I would totally recommend it as a starting point for anyone looking to break in. It's my favorite from 7-XIII.

Your taste in FF games is very similar to mine - much love for VI, X, and XII (and obviously XIV). But man, you really did IX dirty here! It deserves better than F tier for Vivi alone - the best character in the franchise.

Final Fantasy IX is an amazing game... subjectively my favorite FF ever by quite a long shot. Objectively it'd be hard to place is above 7. Memorable characters, an upbeat protagonist, classic FF gameplay before they really started tinkering with the formula. I realize its not everyone favorite, but I'm baffled by the F-tier placement, thats just bizarre.

Will "Final Fantasy Count Up" Be edited and posted on Youtube? Will it be edited in multiple videos per section of the game, or all in one? Or will you post the full play throughs?
