Israeli army spokesperson warns Israel’s defence is ‘not impenetrable’ after Tel Aviv drone attack

Publicado 2024-07-19
Daniel Hagari, the spokesperson for Israel’s army, said that the army is investigating the deadly drone attack on Tel Aviv early on Friday and emphasised that Israel’s defence “is not impenetrable”.

The drone attack was claimed by Yemen’s Houthis, who revealed in a statement that they had used a new type of drone that is “capable of bypassing Israel’s interception systems”. The attack killed at least one person and injured multiple others.

Hagari said that Israel would be “bolstering its air patrols” and that they are working on “refining capabilities to better protect Israeli citizens”.
