The biggest problem with India's budget is that we focus on appeasement for votes rather than actual development of nation , education , innovation, research and development in different fields etc ...

Reduce more of income tax and increase indirect tax gradually to make sure every citizen is paying their taxes. Again not saying increase a lot, but gradually.

They forgot to mention that above 50lakhs the tax is 40% , they add additional cess tax, it’s so painful that they hide such things , also they put 45 to 160% tax on cars but they hide they only tell people that it’s 29% , murkh banate hai
