Every Hidden and Unmarked Quest in Fallout 3 Explained

Published 2024-04-28
Unsung King explores the Capital Wasteland for every hidden and unmarked quest in the base game. In Fallout 3, unmarked quests are tasks or objectives that do not appear in the player's quest log and are not explicitly given by NPCs. These quests are often discovered through exploration or by interacting with the game world in specific ways. Unmarked quests can range from simple tasks, such as finding a hidden location or delivering an item to a character, to more complex scenarios that involve making decisions with long-term consequences.

Playing tale of two wastelands, giving pre war books to Yearling is the easiest money maker in existence. NV has tons of unburned books to sell 😂

Theres no way Moriarty doesnt know how much silver "stole", so only asking for 100 caps out of that seems like hes offhandedly trying to help you out.

After seven consecutive months and save files with branching paths, I have done every SINGLE quest in Fallout 3 and its DLC, hidden and not. I have nothing left to do. I already did it for New Vegas, again with multiple save files to get every branching path. That took even longer. Now to do it with Fallout 4.

6:15 i always complete this quest almost every playthrough, i dont even purchase from him after lol
  • I've played this game several times over, and gotten the Platinum Trophy. Only Trophy I didn't get was for collecting all the abductee recordings on Mothership Zeta; and I didn't really know about the prime numbers quest in the Museum of Technology

you can kill Sister without upsetting the Rivet City folks. The Mister Sandman perk lets you kill him while he's sleeping and it doesn't seem to piss people off.

Do you use any graphics/textures mods? Characters look a bit better than I remember.

I never realized how many unmarked quests there are in fo3 but i knew basically all of them except helping paradise falls trader get 20 chinese rifles and finding cheryl i never found all the notes but i never thought it was anything important so i didnt really hunt for more notes. And the Mississippi quantum pie cause after giving sierra the quantums i whack her to take all her nuka-colas to make more quantums for more nuka-grenades, i only do her quest for the v3 schematic. Also i knew about the boogeyman hood but ive never got it i cant do it no matter how evil my dude is, i'll mez random wastelanders but thats different they can try to run. Its cool that theres still stuff to find in a 16 year old game. That makes me feel old i remember the first time seeing fo3. My oldest brother was playing it he was at raven rock i didnt know that then though. I remember very clearly that he had just came out the blast door and finished speech with fawkes when i came in his room, which i was like "what is that thing?", then with a plasma rifle he just one shot gooifies this guy (enclave soldiers not fawkes) outta nowhere and im like oooooo what are you playing i need it. That was my love at first sight with fo3.
  • I think ive only ever done Moriarty's quest on my first playthrough every other time i just kill the chick and take her money 😂
