Watched numerous interviews of this man talking about stuff I couldn't even imagine experiencing. This is the first time I've seen him emotional. All respect bro.

"I never heard anything like that before." Coming from that guy that sent chills down my spine.

Nick Irving is a True Hero! A true warrior, I’ve watched many videos of him speaking of his time at war & the way he articulates things, the pain im his eyes as he describes the deeds he had to commit for this country, you can tell not a day goes by where he doesn’t think of the lives he’s takin & that it haunts him. That’s a true hero, living a nightmare so that we can live the American Dream! When I see how far the country has fallen men like him are the first that come to my mind, the pain these men experience watching the nation they watched their friends die in the dirt protecting just falling to shambles has to hurt them beyond belief! All they sacrificed just to watch a rich man ruin it to become slightly richer, the anger that must bring is unimaginable, not even counting how badly we treat our vets in the first place…
  • I've watched almost every interview this dude has done, and this is the first time I'm seeing him get emotional during telling a war story 😢 I'm like "wow this guy is BUILT DIFFERENT!" but this just made him even more of a man in my eyes 🙌🏽🙏🏽🪖🥾🇺🇸

If the reaper is crying you know it hit him hard
  • @marcelena
When he looked left as he said "passing by" it's like he's still seeing it happen as he's saying it.

Poor dude, seems like a super nice guy and I can tell how brokenhearted he is because his friend was dying in front of him, in the middle of a war or battle, seeing him pale and white and then having to carry his body to safety just to lose him in the process. A man can cry as much as anyone else, when I see stuff like this it breaks my heart because it shows that he and no one else wants to see these things happen. Why is there war? Why are we fighting? Why do we have to put him in that position? I don’t understand, and people keep justifying it and continue to go to war and outside of war, outside of the army, we got a lot of the rest of society being negative and insulting and hurting people. Why can we not be better as a people, as the human race, as a species? Aren’t we supposed be highly intelligent organisms and no one can see how much negativity drives the world right now? To those who are kind-hearted, good people. I love you all and I thank you for being kind in a world where many people are negative, selfish, and narcissistic, and I’m sorry for all the people who have been hurt either by seeing war either through a video or first hand in the army. To those who continue to drive to work to ruin with their negativity, and to people who support war and also people to like being selfish, narcissistic, and mean for no reason just because you think it makes you cool, I say this: I hope that one day good people realize how much negativity is really hurting us as a species, how many people have died for mean comments and hurtful actions, all for a person’s prideful behavior… and to those in charge of whether or we fight wars or not, please realize that we do not need to fight! Why can’t we solve problems as humans without anyone dying?? I do not understand and I’ve been very hopeful that we as humans would be better, but year by year it keeps getting worse.

Thank you Sean this has helped so many Vets. Isolation is a killer and your platform brings healing and is the antidote for loneliness depression & suicide. You're doing an incredible service for all the warriors out there because our government has failed to.
  • @user-hz5rk5vy1t
"Thank you for your service" doesn't even come close to the appreciation that we should have for our professional warriors.
  • @shockxwave
Dont hold that back. Let it out man. Men go through tough shit. Its ok for us to have moments especially guys like this
  • @DGenXer
I read his book really good book to be honest, he talked about his ranger buddy getting shot by a chec sniper. It was really sad.. 😢 sorry my man for your loss
  • Sir, whether you believe it or not, you are a Hero, as well as all your fellow brothers in arms. Some paid a higher price, but you and your brethren who fought side by side and brought your buddies home deserve respect as well. There is no shame in shedding tear's for those you have lost, and the majority of us will never understand what you feel when everything goes quiet. Respect Sir!

Shawn has such a compassionate presence. It’s strong yet comforting.
  • @Fat_Thor_1138
There are some special people in these comments. Guys talking trash that have never seen combat let alone spent time in uniform.
  • @saman1234
It takes a real man to share a story like this and show how he really feels about it. You’re a good man and your tears show the burden you carry for all of us.
  • @joeJoe-pb3su
War is hell...😔 my prayers to all those families of the battle buddies that didn't make it back. 🙏 🇺🇸
