Barry Gibb has gone through so much. We need more love like this everywhere

This was recorded just a few months after his last brother, Robin, died. He was still in the early stages of grief--hence, the references to loss and healing.

Brought tears to my eyes . I know how his dear Mom feels as I have lost 2 of my 4 adult children. The song has a special meaning to me and Ricky was right, God is the only answer to a grieving broken heart. Love listening to all the Bee Gees songs
  • But wasn't it wonderful living through all those years being able to hear such beautiful music. Im 67 and loved every minute.

Holy cow!!! Barry is on his own now. Well I hope he knows how loved and appreciated we are of him and his brothers. And that God holds him in his love.
  • They sound fantastic together. I love how so many artists scooped Barry up and sang with him. Makes my heart smile. Ricky Skaggs.

This footage is VERY special to me! I was there! I live in Nashville. It was my one and only opportunity to see a Bee Gee. It was heartbreaking knowing that this was Barry’s very 1st performance since Robin had passed.

Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees are right up there with Lennon and McCartney with their songwriting abilities. Loved them all my life!✌❤🎶😁

There is no bad Bee Gee song, for me the absolute epitomy of talent. The Bee Gees are the music of my life.

This was powerful after losing his last brother- he was brave to sing this after he's lost all his brothers but I guess he wanted to express in his own way his feelings 😘
  • All three of Barry’s brothers have died by the time of this show, Robin the most recent to pass. Barry and his family were still grieving here.

Just wonderful. Dear Barry he’s been through so much heartache. Thank for including the interview at the start 😊

I so understand his grief. I also am the oldest of three sisters. I lost both of them. The last one 3 yrs ago. And my mom & dad. I'm the only one left in my immediate family. You just wander why? And you miss them so much. God bless you Mr Gibb!
  • Can't believe I've never seen this!!!! I grew up listening to the Bee Gee's, Barry still sounds sooo good💙 thank you for this touching reaction 👏👏👏

He's the only brother left. This was only a little while after his last brother, Robin, passed.

I once attended a church that met in a hotel in San Diego. One Sunday Ricky Skaggs came to our church and stepped up and ked us in hymns.
  • I’m so glad to see a lot more people doing reactions..... Especially playing BeeGees! They were always such a beautiful and talented group! I will always love them..... Even though Barry is the only one left, well that hasn’t stopped him at all!!! I love em!!💕 So thank you for playing him...💕

Ricky Skaggs. Very humble christian man. Started out with Emme Lue Harris.
