I challenge you to go do something good for someone and go see ORDINARY ANGELS in theaters February 23 or check it out here - www.inflcr.co/SHKAp #LionsgatePartner #OrdinaryAngelsMovie #KingdomStoryCompany ‪@LionsgateMovies‬

I went up to go knock on this door because of how overgrown the lawn was when I saw the front door padlocked shut and a notice from code enforcement from over 6 months ago. So, I spoke with the next door neighbor to get a little bit backstory on the home. He told me the owner lives over 7 hours away and the city has given up on sending people out to cut it. The overgrowth is really affecting the drainage in the area and looking horrible for everyone around it. So, I decided to get it all cleaned up and looking amazing again.

  • You inspired me to mow and trim my elderly neighbor's backyard last summer. We share an alley. She's alone and can't afford to pay anyone for it. It was a really small yard but it took me a long time. I'm in my 50s, disabled, and only have a push mower and cheap weed whacker. That damn grass was as high as my knee. The feeling I had afterwards, besides a bit of pain, was humble elation. I helped make a difference in her life. She said it was nice to know she still mattered (I cried after she said that), and her dog could walk in the yard again. Spring is coming... more kindness to sow, peeps!

Spencer, two or three more cuts and I'm positive Corpus Christi will canonize you. You're awesome. This yard, the lady crying over the cleared sidewalks, the dog chilling with you, saving a cat, organizing a $150k+ drive for an animal shelter... St. Spencer is not the hero we deserve; he's the one we need.

Single mom here… I just have to say your videos are the ONLY thing my 10 month old baby will sit down and watch at bed time when he’s overtired and fussy. They’ve been a major help and calm him down so fast. Witching 5-10 minutes he has sleepy eyes and will go to sleep👌🏼😭🙌🏼 Currently is sick and has been fussy. This is the most relaxed he’s been all day! Random but THANK YOU!!!! This is Baby ASMR❤
  • @tripaffleck
the neighbors need to say "Thank you" more frequently.
  • @garudagal23
A whole company gave up on this place but you ALONE did a beautiful job cleaning it up!!! way to go!!! amazing work you do
  • @tmscview
Such a shame to see these houses abandoned with so many people out there looking for a roof over their heads...anyway great job with the tiding up of the garden :)
  • @user-yq2rn2hy8p
Hon, if i was that neighbor, I'd be there with a sandwich and some fresh squeezed tangerine juice saying thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!😅😅

Spencer, your back has to be SCREAMIN after these jobs where you’re scraping sod off the concrete. This is some serious labor. You’re a good man & we all appreciate your drive.
  • @amandabowmer88
He said that yard would make for a good show, and he wasn't lying! What a mess it was!
  • @angelpie9530
What a mess. There was enough sod at the end of the driveway to start a whole new yard! It’s so nice to see the finished product looking so tidy and neat. Another great transformation.

God bless you Spencer! That is very hard work you do for free. When my husband was in the USAF we lived on a street with elderly people all around us. When he mowed our yard, he mowed the yards of several elderly people for free. In the neighborhood we live in now, he mows our Nextdoor neighbors yard for him too. He says it was a lot easier back then when he was in his mid twenties. Now he is 66 and it’s not as easy on him but he enjoys helping people out. I pray that God blesses you and your family in a big way for all that you do!
  • OMG Spencer. Curb, what curb? You had to move 1/2 mile of dirt and grass to find it. And you showed us the children's footprints, which is very touching. Sometimes when you see these old abandoned homes you forget that they held a lot of memories for someone. Thank You.

Mother Nature has her tendrils deep in that one! It makes you wonder how long would it take a city to disappear if everything was left to go wild.
  • This by far the most overgrown yard I have ever seen someone on YouTube take on. This was phenomenal. You are phenomenal. What an amazing clean up. I'm sure the neighbors are elated.
  • @sheilaleslie573
I would like to offer a thanksgiving prayer for you. LORD! Thank you for the servants heart of these young people. Please allow them to continue this ministry for as long as they are willing and able. Bless them Lord! AMEN
  • @deekern4419
Great transformation for the neighborhood. Shame on the landowner and city for not doing their jobs.
  • @vincentlynch7672
This is my husband’s account, but I’m the wife and I watch you whenever I get a chance. Please take care of yourself. You do a lot of back breaking work. I try and tell as many young people as I can. I worked in healthcare for many years. I lifted many heavy patients. I’m paying for it now with severe back problems. I always felt fine all my life. You won’t feel it now, but you may someday. Please take care.

You're such a godsend to the community by helping with the drainage problems on that street. You rock Spencer!
