Hey Em, they’re called azalea trees, the ones with the two types of leaves. They’re found randomly above ground - like your one in the mesa - and signify a lush cave underneath. If you chop one down, and follow the rooted dirt all the way down, you’ll find the lush cave! Hope that helps, love the series 💚

There are redstone contraptions you can make that make constant noise to keep the warden interested in them. I believe it was impulsesv from Hermitcraft that designed it, you can go right up to them and name them

For the dead bushes: you can put them in pots! And then leaves on top of the dead bush! (that can be a bit wonky to do, but it is possible!)

you could use two observers and a piston (or trapdoor) in the warden room to make constant noise for the warden to focus on in order to both name him and stop him from killing the other mobs; you could also cover the room in wool but I feel like that’s way harder and more work

Shader mods would look nice with the builds from the past and future (This is optional) Keep it up with these builds even if it's impossible, you just gotta dream, believe and achieve :D
