Step inside celebrated Australian architect John Wardle's family coastal retreat. As the founding architect and partner of Wardle Studio in Melbourne, John has created a unique home on the Victorian Surf Coast intended for generational use. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding ochre cliffs and rugged coastline, Burnt Earth House embodies a deep connection to place and cleverly chases the sunlight.

    Australian architecture is phenomenal, est living, The Local Project, or Architectural Digest feature always deliver, however I can't get a sense of why my opinion of those interior CMU looking brick patterns bother me so much. Seems like a constant theme in Australian Architecture.
