This is the incredible Viggo C8. A hand-built all-aluminium boat built in Sweden that, when fitted with a 500HP Mercury outboard motor, can reach an incredible 70 knots! Stay tuned for my review of the C10!

  • Wow! What an absolutely amazing built aluminium boat, John.

Now that you have piloted both the C8 and the C10 , in your opinion which is the most enjoyable over all? I believe this is the boat for me. Cheers!

I saw a review, probably on this same boat, about how tough it was and then someone said it was a glorified 'Metal Shark', but I think this is better

I would purchase the C10 in a few years (tsla) , absolutely love the boat but the fuel consumption is too dear. I'm really interested in the C8 now. I have an acre of waterfront property in Klawock AK and would launch in the Columbia River. Thanks for all of your great videos. 👍

Great video John. Great to see you onboard another proper boat not just a show pony.

A rugged leisure craft for daytime fun. How about powering this Viggio with a Mercury 600 hp outboard? Do you really need a generator for a 30 ft craft? Upgrade to a 35 ft C10 and twin 450 hp Mercurys. Targa 32 would be hard to beat.
  • What’s the cover on the outboard for? Is it just to protect the paint? I’ve been seeing them more often.

I think the units on the graph at approx minute 4, have been confused. I suspect the graph shows litres per mile not litres per minute as stated. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Title said 70 knots, content says it's 50 knots. So which is it?
  • @bsb11kat25
seems its good for getting rid of piles lol
  • I don't understand what market VIGGO is going after with this boat. What are you supposed to do with this thing?
  • That ride looks like it could rattle your back teeth out. Looks like an uncomfortable riding boat
