They really need to add radio affects in the cab and be able to hear defect detectors as well. That would be cool.
  • @Gsluty
I’m a freight train conductor myself, it’s insane how accurate the gameplay is to real life.
  • @flitetym
I’ve always loved trains. I loved trains before what I do now … fly airplanes.
  • @floridiantyrant
As a kid I was always so amazed about trains. Growing up I stopped caring as much but watching this video has made me want to re-explore why I loved trains so much as a child.
  • You should try Run 8. It is a not very well-known train simulator that real railroaders herald as having the best physics for north American freight trains of any train sim. It puts TSW to shame. It has pretty bad graphics, but the base game gives you like 400 miles of track of the Mojave Subdivision from Bakersfield to Barstow, and the Needles Subdivision from Barstow to Needles. the other routes you can be can be seamlessly connected to each other if they are part of the same region. It is multiplayer compatible with a small but dedicated community and is extremely open world. You can run whatever you want to wherever you want. I strongly recommend checking it out.

UP had a track about 100 yards behind my house in the foot hills of Mt. Shasta. It was amazing seeing the 300+ car consists go by during the summer.

Crazy watching that pass through Santa Clarita! The route is accurate, minus the big buildings. But that was cool to watch!

Men I absolutely love the cinematic camera especially with heavy freight trains like this. It sounds so deam awesome

I used to live in the Antelope Valley as well as Santa Clarita. It did capture the Vincent (Hill) Metrolink station, the Saugus Station, and possible the Newhall station. It also had the water treatment where the curve is and the old Thatcher glass plant and the Newhall pass tunnel. The trackage, freeway overpasses in the Sylmar area was fairly accurate. Now for the misses, Plant 42 and the Lockheed Skunk Works just north of Palmdale, the Palmdale Metrolink station, the tunnels in Soledad Canyon between Vincent and Santa Clarita. Maybe they are in there and just weren't included in your video,.

Thanks for posting these videos of the antelope valley lines. My son is obsessed with trains, and we live in the area within the game in real life, so his little mind is BLOWN.
  • @heathen0150
I play alot of American truck sim. But watching you play this game makes me want to get into it as well. Great video
  • @Paughco
Great post! Thank you for sharing. My thing is flight sim. I've got a hotrodded 'puter with P3D v5 and a bunch of A2A aircraft. Train simulation has always interested me. Used to read Model Railroader back in the day, and always wondered when they'd come out with a railroading sim for the home PC. I've seen a number of YouTube videos on the topic, but this one is the first one that makes me think about actually buying the sim and running it on my machine. I'll have to watch a couple more of your videos first. Keep on rockin'.
  • @Wolf-6567
Hi Blu, that consist is EPIC. Thanks for sharing, love your channel.
  • @GMCGUY-
I watched your video from the beginning to the absolute end. Without fast-forwarding it. I just left it alone and let it play. What a remarkable video you did here. Can you please do another video with some different locomotives maybe sd40 or SD 50s that would be awesome or some GP40s GP38s Dash 8 C- 40
  • @aldimore
Great Video! On sale at steam today so I was looking to see what its all about. Being a freight nut, this was perfect.
  • Just got tsw4 deluxe on sale on ps5. Loving photo mode. While the finer things like focus are above my skill set, just being able to pause and line up shot is amazing!
  • I loved TSW3 havent played 4 yet. I wanted to work for UP for years, never on the train itself but on the rails and switches and such. The guys behind the scenes who make sure the engineers can keep on running down them rails.
  • @scottnj2503
This is fascinating. I'm a flight sim guy. I've a fairly elaborate flight sim pit for DCS. Knew of racing sims, just discovered train and truck sims. Soo cool. But I've much to learn about flying. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy... maybe we'll come across one another in the virtual sim world some day when all this stuff gets merged in the Matrix LOL 🤓
  • @whippy107
That was very fun to watch, thanks! I was cringing there at the end signal! 😅 I look forward to upgrading to TSW4, but have to wait until after christmas in case santa brings it for me.
