As someone who has to work a regular job every day, it's refreshing to see Tyrese recognize how amazing it is he gets to do this for work everyday. Great kid
  • We absolutely love Maxey here in Philly. I hope he has a long and successful career.

Tyrese Maxey seems like the kind of guy my grandparents would call “A fine young man”
  • @King_JappyJoe
These conversations really show how insanely developed these athletes minds must be to be in the Pros. It takes much more than athleticism to make the NBA
  • Nothing more heartwarming than a young man that recognizes and is sincerely appreciative of the blessings bestowed on him. God bless him.

Rootin for this kid, hell of a hooper. Even better person from what i can tell.

Out of all the Ls Philly has taken. They got lucky with this kid. Get rid of harden asap, get some picks and pieces. This kid is a future all star.

Black folks, look at the beauty of having grandparents living with you can make. This dude is well rounded, happy and driven. And as a Sixers fan, I love this dude! Go Maxey 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
  • This just shows how unfair the 76ers have been to Maxey. Constantly making him readjust and not stay in a single role for an extended period because of the front office’s chaos
  • I always loved Tyrese Maxey on the court, such an exciting player. But now, I have an increased amount of respect. What a smart, mature guy! Also great to hear that James Harden isn't doing anything outside what is expected of him, that is incredibly hopeful for the Sixers season.
  • Maxey just seems like a great dude to be around. Watching the 76ers play last November, he went 110% from the second he stepped on the court to warm-up. I hope a lot of Harden's playmaking rubs off on him before he leaves.

Wow, sounds like the most normal NBA player I've ever heard talk. I legit say this exact same stuff myself, if I was getting paid tons of money to ball I'd be living in the gym. Such a blessing to be able to do something you love full time. Hope this kid has a long and successful career

Maxey just seems like a dude who enjoys life and takes it day by day. Grateful for what he has and I wish him a great upcoming season. Coming from a Knick’s fan.

Man say what you want about the sixers, but it's hard as hell to dislike Maxey, on or off the court
  • @Jsneebs42
This interview just made me like Maxey even more. As a UK fan I knew he was a good kid. Now that he's a pro he still shows humility and gratitude for where he is. He Gives his teammate's credit where it's due and continues to work his butt off to get better. I think he is going to be a perennial all-star before it's all said and done.
  • He’s so awesome, one of the fastest player on the league right know, yet he showed how humble a great personality.
  • @spacemandriver
This kid has so much talent and a great head on his shoulders. Can’t wait to see his great career unfold.
  • @caiogaver3402
His on court persona is the same as he is in an interview. Just an awesome dude who is happy to be there and is freaking good at basketball.
  • @thespeedster7700
I met Tyrese Maxey at the McDonald’s all American game, great dude 🙏🏿
