The Absolute Beginner's Guide to Using Inkscape for CNC

If you're brand new to Inkscape and the CNC plasma industry, this one is for you! This is not intended to be an all-encompassing tutorial; instead, just a brief welcome to Inkscape and a general overview of the layout.

My Go-To Inkscape Shortcuts:
Undo: Ctrl + Z
Convert Object to Path: Shift + Ctrl+ C
Convert Stroke to Path: Ctrl + Alt + C
Union: Shift + Ctrl + +
Break Apart: Ctrl + Shift + K
Combine: Ctrl + K
Difference: Ctrl + -
Group: Ctrl + G
Ungroup: Shift + Crtl + G
Zoom In: +
Zoom Out: -
Raise Selection One Step: Page Up
Lower Selection One Step: Page Down

    Thank you for this video! I just got myself a cnc and was trying to use this program to convert images to gcode and fixing the nodes was a bit challenging but I learnt a lot from your video! Would love to see more tutorials for beginners like me! The gcode tool is a bit difficult to wrap my head around it right now, it keeps duplicating paths haha.
