My dad named me after this song. He told my mom "if I ever have a daughter, I'm naming her Patience" and that's how I came to be. He passed when I was 16 in 2020 due to a heart attack. Whenever this song comes on the radio, I take it as a sign that my dad is here. Edit: Thank you all for your love 😭💕

At 52 years old... I am the BEST I have been my whole life! "No bread, no pasta, no Sugar" got me back to where I was in High School (when this song came out)... I'm an "empty nester," now and "Patience" got me here: thru years of marriage I thought would kill me -- into true marital bliss (still with same God-given woman [there's no doubt you're in my heart, now, Kimberly])! The tears, smiles, wind-sprints and the dumbells come so easy, now! Wine flows, songs grow! Patience..Patience..Patience..the rewards are at the end of a long, hard row... Love seemed to "work itself out fine!!" Thank you, Lord for this woman and my "patience!" 31 years.. I hope for just ONE MORE DAY!!

I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.

My brother bought me this CD for Christmas. Two months later he passed. This song was played on the local radio station for him. Still breaks my heart 35 years later.

To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. It's December 4th, 2021. Today would have been my youngest brothers birthday. He would have turned 43 today. We lost him way too soon at 30. I can still see him doing the Axle Rose sway in my head. It made me smile when all I wanted to do was cry. This one's for you Ryan, I'm thinking of you, cheers.

My mom used to whistle this song every single day when I was way little, used to think it was the prettiest thing I’d ever heard, and had a beautiful melancholy feeling. She’s still with me, but I cut her off awhile ago cause she turned out to be really manipulative and bad, so whenever I hear this song I start crying terribly cause it reminds me of when life was perfect.
