When Singapore Airlines flight SQ321 hit extreme turbulence, it felt like being on the “crest or precipice of a really tall roller coaster", passenger Dzafran Azmir recounted. The 28-year-old had no idea how badly his fellow passengers were injured until the flight made an emergency landing in Bangkok. “These panels above our heads … They were literally broken and shattered by people's heads and bodies impacting them." This is a stronger reminder for everyone that we have to fasten seat belt all the time when we are seated.
  • The pilots are very professional in handling such a difficult and terrifying situations. The pilots did a good job to stabilise the plane.

I’ve travelled with Singapore Airlines several times and I feel that the pilots did an amazing job not panicking & landing the plane safely. My condolences to one of the deceased.

A very terrifying experience. What I can do is only to pray that all the victims recover soon and that kind of turbulence never happens again.

An airpocket that couldn't be avoided but thank God the plane stabilised after getting out of it and landed. My TCM physician experienced this too years ago and told me he has nightmares for several months. He avoided flying for 10 years. Recovery for some is a long road. Pray for them
  • 🙏🏻❤️ emergency team on the ground seem really organised and prepared
