Suspect in Samantha Woll murder case returns to court for retrial hearing

I never agree with DA coming up with new charges cause they can't convict a person on their first charges its BS. DA just wont accept the judges ruling. Has to keep trying to give the guy more time.

Shameful. Prosecution just mad their dumb a$$es lost. He shouldn't even be handcuffed.

She wanted him to be found guilty so when she found out she could sentence him to the max she did it. She’s trash! I hope they appeal immediately and win, no one gets sentenced like that for lying to the police especially if he didn’t even lie pertaining to the actual case. This is crap

Man I hope she just lied on that man right before she sentenced him.. just to make an appeal that much easier. saying he lied on the stand, which he was never accused of, priors to “MAYBE” to comply with supervision.. not to mention how can she take into consideration “other crimes” into this sentence that he’s not being charged with?? GTFOH!! What a miserable, poor excuse of a judge.

This judge was caught falling asleep at times during the trial, so I don’t know how she could have an opinion on anything.

If he never did the crime and he was definitely wrongly accused why is he serving time for lying to an officer who he should have never spoke with from jump. And who else getting sentenced for lying on the stand. I'll wait.......free that man

The only reason this judge gave him this prison sentence is because it’s a high profile trial. It’s on national tv and she doesn’t want to deal with the public but she is sooooo wrong for this.

Couldn’t get him on Murder, so send him to prison for lying to the police officer…when the police even lied! Damn shame

This is horrible! I can only imagine the stress Michael has been through these past few months and for the Judge to have no leniency after all the mental abuse and PTSD Michael had to deal with time severed should have been sufficient with possible probation. Furthermore, why is RIP Samantha but her people showing up in court like he wasn't acquitted of the charges wrecking havoc on an innocent man like they weren't at trial watching the and they are confused to my this man got off! Leave this man only and go find the real killer #ex-boyfriend... And stop trying to make this man guilty of murder because he's black!! Sorry for your loss, RIP, and prayers for your family. They sentenced him for lying to the cops, what a joke. Her ex boyfriend killed her, this is an other leaching case. Samantha deserved justices, may the ex boyfriend be haunted for live for killing her.
