    Pre-season is all about getting minutes in the legs. However conceding 4 is a little bit of a concern. This time last year we were involved in 3 matches in the US and yet again the goals conceded column was not great, but the regular season proved to be our best for more than 20 years.

    I got to make it to this game thanks to my girlfriend getting tickets for my birthday. Almost got a selfie with Maatsen, so close too. It was awesome despite the result!

    MLS team in mid season v a bunch of thrown together players including rookies and new signings with barely 90 mins of football in their legs. Feeney and Digne playing CB is all you need to know... Anyone expecting us to just rock up and roll them over is delusional. It was a good exercise, results are not important in the slightest. We're barely into 2nd gear. Martinez, Konsa, Tielemans, McGinn, Ramsey, Watkins, Kamara all still set to return. We've got to get them all match fit. There was barely any Emery ball, no breaking the press, no setting traps. That will come later. It's about getting match sharpness.
