Also, it must be pointed out, that at least as far as I've seen, Darwin's Game is in fact actually free-to-play . I mean, yes, the senseless murder is a negative, but credit where credit is due!

Just so everyone is aware, Ryuji's power in the manga is literally called "Bullshit Detector" and whenever anyone tells a lie his visor lights up with the word "BULLSHIT" In big, capital letters and i think that's absolutely hilarious.

Sui's sigil Castor Light and her brother's Pollux Light also reference the two main stars in Gemini, the Twin constellation. I felt it was a nice touch.

The translators of the manga changed the name of Ryuji's sigal kind of like how the translators of MHA changed Individualities to Quirks and translated it to "Bullshit detector" instead of "Truth or Lies" and it makes some pretty it kind of fun to see in the background a little "bullshit detected" in conversations.

One thing I loved about this is how they handled Kaname's evolution throughout the show from being dragged in and unable/unwilling to fight to being a one man army by the end, it felt really natural and not forced like other "death game" animes

being a sucker for Death Game anime, I watched it, expecting something super edgy and paper thing but i'd watch anyways. Darwin's Game beat my expectation by actually caring about its main cast and making the protagonist likeable which is something i couldn't say for a lot of anime in the genre.
