From Trainworld I picked up the MTH #80-2400-1 ES-44AC Diesel Engine w/ Proto 3.0 CSX First Responder 911 Train. I saw it on the CSX railroad (Burnt Hickory Road crossing in Cartersville Georgia) and thought I would see if there was a model I could afford. It is $250 from Trainworld.

Pretty cool to see both CSX 1853 and CSX 911 together! ScaleTrains is making a model of the CSX New York Central heritage unit in HO scale that will be released next year.
  • @havingoodtime
That is a cool engine surprised they still had it in stock
  • Those are called CSX Heritage units csx has a lot of Heritage unit running around 911 is one of them
  • @WaffleDragon
Neat you caught those two paired up together. I saw them come through Dalton on Virtual Railfan. That MTH model's details look a little chunky to me. It reminds me of a Kato.
  • Lionel just released the csx o scale heritage uints along with the csx 911 unit as well in o gauge a couple of years prior
  • I wonder if anyone knows but I have no idea why American diesels require the worlds most annoying bell. Despite its annoyance I find that sound adorable
  • The NS Southern Heritage locomotive is pretty nice, I prefer those colors to the Southern tuxedo scheme. You might need to watch a DCC tutorial. I always forget how to turn on my LEGO Powered Up trains because I only run them twice a year.🫤😂
