You are running a business and teaching for FREE - So to those with no patience to wait or click fast forward you will not make good engineers. This man, has years of experience and common sense that he is sharing for FREE - And, he always apologises for any delay. Fantastic Video.
  • I really love the non-editing philosophy. I like to follow his thought-flow which gives you this intuitive insight into the process which is just as important as theory.
  • You are a true legend. YEARS of experience, giving away for FREE. That's not common thing to do on internet. Respect.

Ive been a hardware engineer 15 years and I never got to the Mboard level but I must say this is the best tutorial I have ever seen. Sorin you are brilliant, I love the way you break it down into a simple and logical way of where to start and what to check for. Also it is a real life situation no cutting editing etc a natural teacher for sure. Thanks mate form Ireland glad i came across your channel at this late stage! 😀
  • I think he is not just a plain computer technician, but more than an electronic engineer bcoz of his way of explaining in very clear and detailed manner! For me...He deserve a 5 star!! [ watching from the Philippines ]
  • I've been an engineer for a while now but i have to say that your explanations and how you've managed to break this PSU or the Laptop engine up to serve you best in this environment. Your teaching skills are very impressive. Thank you.
  • I've learnt a lot from him from scratch and now i've my own company for laptop repairs. some times we need to be thankful. plus the other thing whenever there is a good thing happening they will be always a room for for some people waiting for a single mistake so that they can say negative information. but for real this man is a great teacher ever He has the gift of teaching. some people can have degrees for teaching, but they don have the gift

I know it is 2 years later. Thank you Sorin for a good video for beginners. Earlier you stated that after the adapter connector, there is a fuse, which is connected through resistors(s) to the First MOSFET. In the generalized diagram you are drawing (@46.41) you are showing it as a resistor. Actually they are two power inductors in parallel, which are designated PL101 and PL102 on the MOBO and are used for LC filtering.

Sorin, If you do this videos in my country the shop will be exploding with work. Only a motherboard no schematic and finding multiple problems. It is very professional to do it like that. You are the best one On YouTube. Nice video and great work thank you 🙏

Thank you soo much for this video. This was the one where the light bulb finally switched on for me and everything suddenly began to make sense. Loved that you drew the circuit as you talked about it. That’s what finally helped me to understand how these things work in conjunction with one another. You sir are a legend and one can only imagine how many people you have helped. Regarding editing (or lack of) editing, I love the way you just carry on as normal and show people how long things can really take. Besides, it gives me time to make a cup of coffee or have a bathroom break whilst you chat to customers 😂🤣. Greetings from a very happy chap in Sheffield, UK.

I went to an electrical engineering school in Serbia. There were too many schemes and theories in the school, and that's all. I'm learning the practice from you, so thank you for everything.
  • I like your commentaries very much. I could be in the middle to what you call "intermediate" and "high class", as I repaired radars and radios a lot, however, I would never qualify your videos as "boring" or senseless, they are very good. I sincerely do not share all your techniques but I really respect them , they are straightforward and solve many problems. I watch your videos all the time and will continue to do so as they provide a lot of wisdom and experience.
  • @bellslinki
The videos are perfect and insightful without editing. Thanks
  • @dagobb
I never stay that long watching a video, this one I could keep watching another hour. Thank you for not editing it.
  • @djtroopy1640

  • @ifixt3800
I am currently running small business and this guy is helping me a lot.....THUMBS UP!!!!!!
  • Dear Sorin, the very reason I liked your videos and subscribed to it immediately is not because of the content, of course that's there, but then its because the videos are not edited that makes us feel at home and feel so well connected with you and that feeling is lovely and there are no technical jargons but hands on practical demonstration. Therefore I request you to keep it like that pls. Love you and many thanks once again. 👍😊

This is a very valuable video. Thanks Sorin for leaving the videos unedited and for the great lenght you go to give us humans the chance to learn. Been watching your videos non stop for days now, every single one holds incredible and valuable lessons. Thanks from Sardinia!
  • @armangunpla409
Hands down to your free tutorial sir! And for those who said this video is boring those people are idiots. And I also don't care if this is not edited, the fact that you teaches us this technique in real time scenario is priceless knowledge for us who wants to learn. It was a blessing that I stumbled in your channel. More Power to you Sir!
  • First off great explanation, I've been taking electronics apart and trying to fix them since I around 8 years old, and now I'm 51, fixing this crap is very time consuming. Keep up the good work my friend.
