  • Jamie, I've been watching you for ling time. People tell you not to thrift because your taking from the people that really need it. I remember when you kids were really struggling financially. So people really need to quit judging. You've so hard to get where you are. Don't let the haters get you down. ❤

It is my understanding that the money raised from the thrift stores goes to help people in need. They can also buy things but I think the money to help them is most important. Keep shopping. ❤❤❤❤

I think resellers help the economy and the environment.

For anyone who criticizes thrift-for-resale, there is PLENTY of reused goods to go on sale and provide for lower-economic consumer. Zeb and Jami are contributing to a system call circulatory-goods economy, it’s one of the most sustainable source of resources. It allows for our country to become a more independent economy, it reduces waste, and it supports small businesses. Most resale shoppers go to the bins from what I have seen. Which if you’re not familiar with the bins/goodwill outlet it’s the last stop before the landfill. I wrote a persuasive paper on it.
  • Great haul. I love seeing what you find at your stores each week. I don't understand why people get upset about thrifting for profit. If the items are not bought, some would end up in the landfills. I see nothing wrong with thrifting for resell. Here in my small town in SC, we have 2 goodwill stores, 1 salvation army and 2 local thrift stores. One is for the disabled in our town and 100% of profits goes to help those people. Then we have 1 store that all money goes to run the men's and women's homeless shelters. They also help people get off the streets, find work and get sober. I see people all the time shopping and I know they are shopping for resell. I say so what, what does it matter, Shop till you drop. I see alot of teenagers shopping at thrift stores and i think it is awesome.
  • I’m so jealous, you have some awesome goodies so cheap! Our Goodwill is pricey 😢

Great finds today. I learned to sew on my grandmothers Singer sewing machine. It was a peddle type. When I was looking for an electric machine I saw a lot of the old Singers that had been electrified but I just bought a new portable Singer. When we tried to sell the old Singer it didn’t bring a very good price.
  • And you buy decor, books, decorative throws, etc….. you’re not buying clothes (unless you need it), cookware, you know the essentials so people need to realize you are helping the community and keeping trash out of the dumps. You are taking the old and refurbishing it into some usable again! Stay strong. You are showing your children that hard work and determination will pay off
  • I didn’t realize that we have so many Goodwill stores in Utah! In other resellers areas if the item is not marked you can’t buy it you are so lucky.
  • My husband and I were watching and I said “I had that crystal vase but it got broken, then I said, oh you missed that stacked basket” he said “that’s why we have so much stuff, “, I said “they are resellers and they fix things up, I was just helping them find things”! He said “But WE are not” lol!
  • I love the copper angels cookie cutters. So sweet! Have a wonderful week!
  • @maryberg6322
I absolutely love that bread box. That was a find.
  • @RinaMeyers
WHY IS IT, that I only enjoy your shopping videos and no one elses !?!?
  • @BelvaGray
I heard your knees lol familiar sound to me!
  • What a coincidence. I found a royal Holland pewter pitcher today at the bins. The crystal vases are beautiful
  • Look up the Windsor chair model. They are very desirable and , if from a well known maker, can be quite pricey, new or old. Thanks for another good video!
  • People in need normally buy clothes, bedding and cooking supplies. I would think planters, candlesticks and clocks are low on their list of necessities. I wouldn’t lose sleep over buying at thrift stores for reselling.
