Silent Lake’s two campgrounds, Pincer Bay and Granite Ridge, are located in forested settings.

Granite Ridge Campground offers a small number of electrical campsites. These sites are reservable and fill up quickly.

For those who want to camp with friends or extended family, Silent Lake has a number of double campsites. Two campsites share one driveway and one firepit. These double campsites can occupy up to twelve people and must be reserved together.

In the winter, Silent Lake offers car accessible, plowed, electric campsites on a reservable and first-come, first-served basis.

What You'll Like:
Over 19 km of hiking trails and 17 km of mountain biking trails
Beautiful lookout point over Silent Lake

I love Silent Lake! Awesome place!
  • Stayed in a yurt here during this winter, first time in the yurt for me and it was amazing! Opened up a whole new season to enjoy the Ontario parks!
  • Silent Lake truly deserves its name. The place is very peaceful and relaxing, making it the ideal escape from the stress of daily life and the noise of cities.
  • I appreciate these reviews. My wife and are in a tent year round but the information is still quite valuable. Thanks for including activities including ones you may not be involved in yourself thanks
  • @StepsbyKaatje
I had a laugh when you were setting up your camp, it looked pretty hard. Your husband has a great laugh! Great kayaking and musquitos were a pain... Hiking, i guess you better go prepared. Thanks for the tips!
  • Thanks for another detailed and informative park camping video. Nice and calm park.
  • @Travelsheesh
The lake is so calming surrounded by greenery, It is a perfect place for people who loves silent place and nature. Your detailed review is always so helpful and useful for all the travelers. Keep sharing the good stuff guys.
  • Another great video! Thank you for sharing your experience at Silent Lake. I was there in Sept 2021 with my mother & aunt in September. Unfortunately we hit a week with a lot of rain and I couldn’t check out the trails. I appreciate when you share your thoughts and experiences on them. We were at site 132. I believe it was worst than yours. It was down in a valley with poor drainage. It was an experience!! I do want to return to Silent Lake. I did enjoy it. We did have 1 gorgeous day to walk in the water at the beach. Looking forward to your next Ontario Parks review video. Happy camping!
  • Silent Lake is one of my favourites. But ya, the skeeters are intense! I always have a thermocell, but I would not attempt it in June or July without a screen room at camp, and bug jackets with face covers for the trails. Plus a bug zapper racket on hand for the camper as well. I'm a little envious that you got to enjoy calm water! That lake can be very windy. Glad you liked it as much as I do!
  • @KayandGogo
This place is so peaceful and beautiful You guys had a good spot Kayaking looked like lots of fun. Another great review
  • @nabilDZ431
This channel is one of the few that makes you excited about travel and adventures in nature..
  • the lake is gorgeous and the trail near/along/crossing the river was really pretty, but those bugs and mosquitoes!
  • @wrxs1781
I enjoyed the video and love your sunglasses, anyway we were were on our first outing a week ago and yes the insects were overpowering. Last year we purchased a clam shelter and would not go without it. I know Bancroft and area well because of my interest in minerals, and it is the mineral capitol of Canada.
  • This one seems more of a park to get away and not run into mass people. It's not as busy looking as the last spot. I appreciate the shade. Buggy and non linear on the ground. At least you guys made the most of it. Always down for a kayaking trip. The brewery looked great. The trails all seem great and the seclusion of the place seems to off set the stinky toilets 😂.
  • Beautiful lake and camp site. I think the mosquitoes would of drove me nuts.
