Elephants are known to recognize a scent from a distance and they never forget a scent. Infact they are known to carry a grudge for life
  • the fact the elephant didn't attack anyone else in this even though they were alive and she was dead speaks volume.
  • She definitely did something F’d up to that elephant. There another story of an old man that always helped the elephants near his village and when he died the elephants mourned his death and every year on the day he died all the elephants do a procession to his house all on their own. This has gone on for many years after his death. Elephants are amazing animals

Don't you know the saying " a memory as long as an elephant"?They never forget until they die. They are extremely sensitive animals, and they truly grieve for their dead.

It cannot be a coincidence. Yes, elephants are known to be aggressive when on heat periods and other times, but for an elephant to attack a person twice, means that person did something to it personally. If you watch wildlife documentaries where a lioness kills an elephant's baby, she pursues the lion. They mourn for their dead like humans especially mother elephants.
  • “Killing the woman spirit, body, and soul all over again” took me out 😭🤣🤣🤣 As a mother the Elephant did what she had to do ❤️ Elephants are some of the sweetest animals so for her to get gully I definitely believed evil was done to her.

"An elephant never forgets". That's something I've known for my whole life. If it were my child, I'd be exactly the same way.
  • I gave an elephant water in our village when I was 13 last December I visited the village and he remembered me,am currently 26
  • The fact that she was with several people at the well and it only attacked her, then only destroyed her farm and animals then got her again shows how intelligent they are. Also she did something horrendous to that elephant for it to do what it did.
  • Elephants are known to be gentle and compassionate which also mean they are capable of hanger too. Elephants has the longest gestational period, they carry their baby for almost 2years or more because they develop very slow and their brain takes the largest space for memory. If the woman did help capture and kill her baby. Then she had it coming because Elephant NEVER FORGETS.
  • It's amazing how someone can live around a being their entire life and neither KNOW IT ,OR RESPECT IT, the entire village got an education that day.
  • This is weird. Just like a story I recently saw on the History channel, here on Youtube. About a tiger in Russia that was shot by a hunter. It didnt die but retreated to lick its wounds and proceeded to follow the hunter to his house. It stalked him for two days and pounced on him at his house. Mind you the house was far away from where the hunter shot it. The way it killed him was with rage it tore his clothes, his property and ate him until it left no piece of flesh or bone. The attack was clearly personal and premeditated. Its scary to think that animals can act like people.

And still I think the Elephant didn't get enough justice. I feel more empathy for the animals than humans to be honest.

Wow!! If an elephant is in an area where there's a lot of people and only goes after one person running passed people to get to that one person then I think it's personal and to show up at the woman's funeral and run passed the many mourners to get to the woman's dead body speaks volumes in itself.. whatever this one woman did was directly towards that one elephant who came for her twice and destroyed her home and killed her animals how could anyone think its not personal
  • The woman suffered trauma from the Elephant's attack in life and also suffered In death. What a terrible way to go. This is a lesson for all.....treat animals fairly. They never FORGET!🤷
  • Elephants have excellent memory I worked at the Philadelphia Zoo with 5 camels and and elephant named Beth and Beth was my buddy I gave her apples and would sit and talk to her for an hour after I got off the clock (she would offer her trunk in a shand shake and every time I'd fall for it and she wouldn't let go until 1 hour had passed) years after I stopped working at the Zoo I went back to see my old friend and when I called her name she spun around and walked over to where I was offering her trunk in a handshake but unfortunately because of her enclosure I was unable to grab her trunk, but still I stayed for an hour talking to her to the awe of the bystanders. I explained that I used to work with her. Damn I miss Beth but she's at an Elephant reserve living her best life now.

She offended the elephant by distracting her from protecting her child. An elephant 🐘 never forgets. And they are beautiful animals until you provoke them, they ran fast and destroy anything in their path.

I once read somewhere that elephants see us the way we do kittens. We’re adorable to them. I think about it often ♥️♥️♥️
  • I believe this elephant had a grudge. I've heard this saying since I was a kid... " an elephant never forgets", many animals are capable of recognizing people and holding a grudge. Crows are also known to have this trait.
