I feel like the new Bills stadium will be a future classic.

I think the bengals are going to go for the upgrade route because the stadium isn't bad it just isn't the best. I have been to multiple football stadiums and I can tell you Paycor has a college-like atmosphere. I can't wait to see what the future brings for paycor.
  • 5:10 The National Football League and the United Football League should work together in making the proposed White Sox’s Chicago Dome for both Chicago Bears and Chicago Enforcers for Both Football Leagues

As a bills fan, The new stadium should have been built in downtown? Or somewhere in Buffalo? So at least it could be used for multiple events like concerts or conventions. Nobody is driving to orchard Park for anything other than football. It's a waste of money, I guess that's what happens when its a government funded stadium and not private

2:38 Tennessee Titans at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee
  • In Chicago the biggest obstacle is friends of the park. The transportation rail link West of the site.

I rolled by the Titan's new stadium today. Just a big hole in the ground so far. You're not missing anything from the satellite view.

I think that so far the Titans are doing the best job with their stadium. The interior is nice but nothing special. But the exterior is an awesome and unique design. And the surrounding mixed use development is fantastic. If this stadium would have been built by the time of the World Cup in 2026, I would dare say Nashville would be a host city. My favorite team the Browns have some great options. Though I am feeling nostalgic about the Browns staying on the lakefront, I do feel that the Brook Park location with a dome is superior. Hopefully with large retractable windows to create a covered outdoor feel when the weather permits 😉. But both options calls for mixed use development around the stadium, and both Locations have rail transit connected to them. I do think that the Brook Park location has too much surface parking particularly along I-71. I would like to see much more of that area converted to mixed use development rather that surface parking lots. I like the Bears stadium, the location, the design with the big window being open to the Chicago skyline, and the redevelopment of Soldier Field as a gathering and recreational space. And I believe that some form of mixed use development and entertainment will naturally develop across the tracks eventually after the stadium is built. Maybe a large and wide pedestrian bridge would help facilitate this. I LOVE the Bills new stadium but......there is a lot of potential for development around that stadium. And I am actually suprised that the Bills with their facilities did not try to take advantage of this and get into the real estate game and develop a mixed use village or community to surround the stadium. They could have easily tied it into there headquarters and practice facility. I think that is a misse opportunity as still the only reason to come to this stadium and area is just for the game. No entertainment before or after except tailgating. IDK. maybe that location is just to remote for the people of Buffalo to go out to on a regular basis and hand around more before and after games. But the Patriots village around Gillette Stadium is similarly remote but Robert Kraft has developed Patriots Village there. BTW, I am a Vols (VFL) fan from Knoxville, TN. My extended family lives in NE Ohio which is why The Browns are my Pro team dedicated!! And I live in Atlanta. So I love what is happening with the development in thw Gulch around Mercedes Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena. And I love the renovations being done to Neyland Stadium and especially the planned entertainment district that is going to be built between the stadium and Food City Center/Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Bears new stadium looks big and awesome. The Titans looks cool. And I wish they'd have some new renderings for the Washington Commanders new stadium once RFK stadium gets torn down sometime this Fall.

Will you do more college football schedule previews?
  • @wrsawy
I'll never understand why these cold weather cities don't build dome or covered stadiums.
