I noticed how you were always wondering how strong Jimin is, he actually has a black belt for taekwondo and a lot more other experience in martial arts! That is also why he can also easily make all these aerial stunts, plus his contemporary background.

JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals. JIMIN has won the prestigious titles for 2 yrs in a row for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, now 3 yrs in a row, as well!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. His 5 solos have broken charting records worldwide, as well as being top seller, plus most listened to. dunno if it's been said already, but with the blindfold, jimin LITERALLY couldn't see. he was led to his spot by jhope and honestly had no idea which way was forward or anything. he just relied on his senses and memorization of the choreo. truly talented.

To me, Jimin is the best dancer. One of the most expressive and fluid dancers I've ever seen. It's like the music waits for him, when he dances. So intriguing and surreal.

jimin can easily sing high notes while doing the hardest part in every choreo. and the fact that he can maintain his facial expressions while doing those?!! CRAZY.

jimin is my favourite dancer because there's just SOMETHING about the way his body moves that no one else can replicate and that hits me hard. and the emotion he gives out as well. i can't explain it but, it's just him. for me, he's the most versatile as well in the group.

Jimin is well know for his dance lines. He has one of the best lines out there and in Korea he is often referred to as the rookies' bible. His fancams are very popular. Many rookies are so inspired by his dancing because of how he incorporates all of the dancing styles into like one~ his own. I think the fake love fancam should have made it to this list as you can see there how powerful his moves are with his expressions and even his hair. Also, you should watch serendipity live performance and black swan Jimin solo behind on bangtan bomb.

There was this one time in one of the Behind the scenes video, where J-hope was watching Jimin perform Serendipity from behind the stage and he said something like " Oh Jimin has that delicate expression" It has stuck with me ever since because honestly there are many dancers, some really good dancers in kpop industry that can dance powerfully, or sexily or can perform with such sharpness. But I've only seen Jimin who can dance with that kind of "delicateness" in his performance and still seems masculine. Men in Ballet or Modern Contemporary dancing used to get lot of flak for not being manly-enough for their choice of dancing genre when they work just as hard and go just as hard as any street dancer. I'm glad things are turning around. And yeah, proud of Jimin and HYBE for giving us these performances where we get to see more representations of modern dance art.

Jimin sings live while doing all his dancing; there is usually a backing track so he can breath if he needs to, but his MIC is always hot. His ability to get up without his hands in based in his background of martial arts. He's got a black bet in TKD, studied Gumdo (Korean sword fighting), and a few others as well.

Actually he wasnt in his good state when the pink hair idol happened. He was injured (i think it was the back pain or something) so he doesnt feeling well at that day. I remember that stage was on kpop festival in gwangju/daegu and the days after they went on tour. But still, he did great at that day. And yes, he's so skilled. Please watch his serendipity and dimple focus. You can see how he's in absolute control with his body. He's such a performer, stage commander i would say. Please watch his fancam more so you can also noticed the details he put on every moves. Always so graceful yet powerful. 😊🥰

Frankly, Jimin is so powerful and muscular he just cuts that choker off with the sharp tension at his neck. None of us are surprised when Jimin rips his clothes while dancing. He can extend and go very wide. He seems much taller than he is when he dances. Beautiful.
