You’re speaking facts. We don’t have an identity, we have habits and traits that we develop over time due to circumstances, and we accept this as our identity. But nothing is set in stone.
  • Finding the 'money's hidden magic' ebook should be your top priority, even if it's the last thing you do in life

Watching this perspective as a religious person is honestly so interesting. I love to hear other people’s perspectives on things like this ❤️

The way I’d follow every single advice you give is crazy😭😭😭
  • This video was insanely helpful and eye-opening. My perspective on myself has genuinely changed, you don't understand how much hearing this helped me. Thank you Madeline <3
  • yes! i hate when people complain about how unhappy they are with the way they look/their clothes/hair/being too pale when they have the means to change it, just change it!

This was so insightful and validating. I grew up with an older sister who was praised for her intellect and I was always on the slower side. She bullied me into believing I was stupid and I still struggle with that to this day, even though I have a college degree and a great job that I excel at. Still learning how to self fulfill my prophecy but it’s in motion!

Madeleine as someone also newly diagnosed with adhd/add and going through college these videos are sooo helpful and validating ❤️
  • 17:20 I also have adhd and everything u said here was so relatable 😭 same thing with me, absolutely hated talking and answering in school as a child and honestly all throughout my life, I think it’s the energy it takes for our brain to focus on the information that we physically can’t talk on top (also prob social anxiety as well) but the hyperactive brain making us feel deeply about topics can cause feelings of unworthiness for kids with adhd :/ good to recognise these things though to understand and improve, for years I had no idea and was constantly worsening mysel

Honestly, when u went to LA you were so happy and it’s soooo your vibe. So move girl, I’m here for it!

You should check out San Clemente CA. It’s situation perfectly between San Diego and LA and it’s on the beach. Surprisingly, rent there is also cheaper than LA and the neighboring beach towns are fantastic (Carlsbad, Dana Point, Laguna Beach)

This resonated so strongly with me. I’ve always been a pessimist by default, but as I get older I understand that there is no value in that. So I’ve been actively trying to be more accepting when things don’t go as I initially expect. It’s the universe giving me a sign or an opportunity, rather than a hurdle or an attack on me. I’ve by no means mastered it, and pessimism is still my knee jerk reaction. But I’m learning to talk myself out of that and look at the other side. It’s not easy, but it’s getting easier every year. How you perceive your circumstances is fully up to you, and that’s so powerful!
