I’ll never forgot I got Watapon at the movie while my friends got blue eyes shining dragon and sorcerer and I was visually upset and some random older person saw I was upset and traded me the sorcerer for watapon because it was his second copy Thank you random person

Kaiba having like, 5 options to beat Yugi, and purposely CHOOSING not to go with any of them, because he “wants to win THIS way” is such a freaking him move. Iconic Kaiba.

I find it fascinating that in this duel it's not something so simple as "kaiba could have won if he did this" but rather "kaiba literally won there were 6 dragons in the dropzone" turns out our boy beat the king of games and he didn't even know it

Can you imagine if before the duel Joey gave Yugi his Jinzo and Yugi used it? Kaiba losing because of Joey, now that would hurt his Ego quite a bit.

Honestly I'm good with Kaiba's direction in the duel overall. There is something that would be insanely satisfying. If they were just playing with cards on a game mat or on a computer it would be a bit silly to go for a win that over the top. But...with the absolutely epic carnage of the Egyptian Gods wiping Yugi out to win the duel being his end game...I can't blame him there. That would have been cool.

Plot armor in the form of duel interference is one thing, but plot armor in the form of disregarding how basic math works is lazy and unacceptable. Kaiba wins this duel even before the potential return from the different dimension play.

I think that the Pyramid of Light movie is the first time we see the cards names, attacks, defence (for monsters), spells and traps.

I find it funny that the real life Pyramid of Light has nothing at all to do with the god cards. I mean, most real-life effects are altered for balance, but this card is completely different.

I love that you clearly did your research. It wasn't just rambling from memory or using 4kids dub crap. This explored every angle and was easy to digest. Please do more of these types of videos. Hell, I'd like to see you just analyze regular duels and give your thoughts on optimal plays or whatever.

You know it's old school Yu-Gi-Oh! when the card reads "All God cards on the field are removed from play.", nowadays the card would have read: "Banish all God cards on the field."
