The 2024 Aston Martin DB12 ($281,800 in Canada, $245,000 in the US) is finally here and is what Aston calls the world’s first Super Tourer. The V12 found in the DB11 has been left behind, and in its stead is an even more powerful twin-turbo V8 that makes 671 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Along with many new updates, such as stiffer torsional rigidity, all-new suspension, and an upgraded infotainment system, does the new DB12 deserve the title of Super Tourer? And how does it stack up against the competition? Thomas and James are excited to find out. We hope you enjoy the episode. Subscribe!

There's nothing like a brand new Aston to make me mad that I'm poor Edit: this was supposed to be a joke for those of you asking about getting more jobs. I'm about to become a Ford master tech who works 60 hours a week so I am not actually poor

Throttle House are hitting Clarkson era Top Gear levels of production these days. The filming and editing are of a remarkably high order and, as usual, the guys are both funny, even-handed and informative. A channel worth watching even when if the car being reviewed is not one that intrigues me.

I think the dog deserves a guest starring credit. Great work as always.

This level of cinematography is crazy! It feels like the actual press release! Such amazing work!

IMO the DB12 is a great example of why you don't need to re-invent the wheel, just improve on it
  • I've been watching for idk, 4 or 5 years now and can I just say man to men, I'm extremely proud of you guys and am honored to have watched you grow. Legitimately remind me of the car shows I watched everyday as a kid. And I hope it never fades. Friends will struggle and but heads, however just always remember where you started and who was always there. Congrats on such amazing content every video. And thank you. 👏💪🔥👌

The new interior is a massive improvement!

Aston Martin didn't want the confusion of having an 8 in the name with a car with a v12 thats why they skipped the DB8 to DB9 but i'm sure they are perfectly content if people make the mistake with this one
  • @TediTheGodfather
They FINALLY updated the interior. Now I can rationalize my fantasies about owning one.

You guys really are the best car channel on YouTube. To echo another commenter, you guys are the inheritor to Clarkson-era Top Gear levels of production and entertainment. Keep it up, you guys rock.❤
  • Your content with us has just hit the next level for some time hence the grow, so happy and more happy for you guys, been a part for many moons, proud.

They're gonna do a V12 version, make it limited to 500 or something like that and charge a fortune for it. I'm calling it right now.

"the thortle horse" is my trusted news source, love the effort you put into those skits
  • @bigali2783
Me a 19yo with 3 bucks to my name casually watching a review about a quarter of a million dollar car
  • @somerandomfella
Finally an updated interior, proper gearbox and better rear design 😎👌
  • @ellygirl84
Those intros are still EPIC!!! Awesome job guys!

I will never understand why people have this need to place their key anywhere in the car. Keep it in your pocket. It's keyless start. The whole point is to bring your key with you and not having to fiddle with it to lock/unlock or start/stop the car.

Beautiful car and I LOVE your reviews! During your drives, I couldn’t help relating your comments to the way my 2020 LC 500 feels and performs with 200 less horsepower at way less than half the cost of the DB12!! I know the LC is no DB, but it was surprising how similar your comments were! Cheers and keep up the great work!
