Demonstrations were reported across the country, including Falcón, where footage showed people tearing down a statue of Hugo Chávez as the Venezuelan opposition claimed an 'irreversible victory' with more than 6 million votes.

Make elections auditable - especially in the USA.

The future of Venezuela looks very bad. If the military forces split up there could be civil war. If the unrest continues there could be a self-coup or the military could take power by creating a left-wing military dictatorship.

The one who counts the votes is the one that decides the winner.

  • Been hearing about this guy Maduro from 2015, the people need to just kick him out now by any means. Beautiful country and people, destroyed by greed. They could get really rich now with their oil now that Russia is public enemy number 1.

Venezuela used to be a prosperous country, now in 20 years it has become a developing country. Socialism has dire consequences.

"A statue of Chavez was torn down" -- "a statue"? about 15 were torn down yesterday, and more to come!
