The Book of Abramelin + Holy Daimon - Esoteric Books Review

You should review Holy Guardian Angel by Michael Cecchetelli. It describes more than one way to contact the HGA besides the one mentioned in the abaramelin and holy daimon both oh which are too tedious and time consuming and more than a little dangerous.

Contacting your Holy Guardian Angel is normally safe and trivial. There are instructions in orthodox prayer book. The Jordanville prayer book is a good one in english. Something is off if contacting your guardian angel is dangerous. Binding and commanding the source of the destructive energies is not a good idea. It's not binding them that's dangerous its having them do your bidding.

Aleister Crowley at first thought the holy guardian angel was symbolic for one's higher self, later he changed his mind & in "Magick Without Tears" was of the opinion that the angel was an objective entity.

One of the stories that I've read is that after leaving the Golden Dawn, Crowley went to the Scottish highlands, particularly in Loch Ness, there he bought the Boleskine house, Crowley then went and tried to perform the Abramelin operation but famously screwed the ritual up, he never banished the demons that he had summoned, leading to strange happenings occurring in and around the Boleskine House, which practically made the house haunted, and tragedy soon happened afterwards, Crowley's lodge keeper, Hugh Gillies, suffered a number of personal tragedies, including the loss of two children.

I hope to one day leave my son something so powerful as this. I do not have a son but i am sure one day i will.

I really appreciate your information here. I was kinda meditating not even an hour ago and got two words in my mind; Stargate & Ramison. I have never heard of such book in my life and now after looking that up on the internet i came across with your video. It's really mind blowing but not anymore 'cause there's information about it and thanks to you i got the answer of why i got those words in my head.

I guess you have seen the excellent film "A Dark Song" - When I think of the HGA working I think of that film.

Crowley of course controversially denied the notion that the HGA is the "Higher Self." Interestingly, 18 months is just about the same time that it takes to complete the Tibetan practice of ngondro. One might interpret the "demons" as repressed complexes of the unconscious, which must be integrated to experience complete individuation, as in Tantra.

this was great, I just ordered a copy of the book of abramelin so it was really fun to take a look inside!

I could be wrong g, but I think they may have a slightly different understanding of "demon" not so much as evil but as a lower form of spiritual force... would that be accurate?

My absolute favorite book on the Abramelin ritual is HOLY DAIMON. Life changing book!

I have the 2011 Edition published by Martino Fine Books. Would be very interested in picking up this new edition just to see how different they are. A very interesting read that’s for sure!
